really Ishy you're really gonna basically out yourself this early? I'm not sure if me saying who you are from this post is considered a reveal, but I do know who you are those of you on Ishy can rest assured he is safe if he did not make that quote up.

 

I only know Ishy because that game is my favorite :) I have it on my psp love PSN sometimes

I just found where my initial reasoning for knowing Mynd was posted tried to multi-quote it and failed so I'll grab it after this I trimmed the unneeded quotes out of the first quote as it was on a mini WOT

no I don't like him claiming and then saying it should not count as a reveal because it effectively elliminates all but 8 people in the entire franchise, either he is fake claiming (which I believe is the case) or he is putting no effort into the game which I do not think is the case.

 

Ok, a lot of speculation is being tossed around, most of it laughable, but this caught my eye.

 

Why is Eternal Phoenix afraid of narrowing down ourselves by FF Chapter? As those who are not skimming the game but actually reading understand, I claimed the FF Chapter of my character with the understanding that it was vague enough to not count as a reveal. A polite and respectful objection to the mod was made and she concurred that it did not count. So, I am still not sure where the problem is....unless EP and a few others are upset about being narrowed down.

 

I mean, if we have six players from XII and as we progress, three of them are revealed to be Vaan, Penelo, and Fran then we have a pretty good idea that among the other three, one has to be a boss (aka. Vayne or Cid). It baffles me that people play this game with emotion rather than logic. Claiming our FF Chapters does not waste reveals but it does help us sort who is who.

 

What raised my eyebrow about EP's statement is that he presents only two of several possibilities, as one who is pushing blindly on a case out of fear. He has made up his mind to lynch me, but he just wants to rally support before he pushes forward. He insults the other players in this game by assuming they would agree with him rather than forming their own opinions. I have not claimed a player at all. I have only claimed the FF Chapter (or franchise? Story? Episode?) that my character belongs.

 

As far as my effort, I think that was simply stated to get some kind of reaction out of me. I'm not sure what he bases this opinion on.

 

No Mynd I am not voting you because if you are telling the truth I know exactly who you are based on Kae, I'm a HUGE FF nerd. I just don't know whether to trust you or not yet hence me stating reasons not to trust you. again, I have still yet to vote anyone in this game but there have been several things that have come off as odd.

Actually EP, to me any playable character in FF is a main character. Every main boss is a main character, including Espers. Like I said, I only claimed what series I am from. If that narrows it down for you, then you must also be from the same series.

 

Red seems like she's trying to act Red rather than be Red. She posts another WOT after I called her out on it, yet its much more playful and spaztic. One could guess that she's scum trying to make up for a guilty conscience.

 

As far as claiming, I have come around on the whole character claiming thing, it does spoil some otherwise great games; however, there is a difference between claiming a character and simply stating which FF series your character is from for the purposes of sorting us. I find it quite revealing that only a handful of players are trying to say that this is a scum play when it can only help the town.

 

no it narrows it down because I know who is playable in 13 I've played almost every FF, plus I remember a certain siggy Kae used to have...

 

oh look another mention on the same page because Mynd for some reason thought I come from the same game.

 

Also you seem fairly confident that we are only asigned main characters, did you get a memo I did not? last I checked we are not all main characters. maybe playable characters and bosses but not all main characters and bosses.

 

How do you know which characters we are? How do you know what characters anyone is? No-one has died yet - unless I missed something last night. You must be on a team to know anything for sure about anyone else's character.

oh and further down the same page Ithi votes me for knowing other characters, I know who I am and pretty sure I know who Mynd is and am almost positive I know who Ishy is, so either you are calling us all scum because I know FF or you are scum for trying to reach and ignore my previously stated reasoning for figuring out who they were.

So ... until this morning when I posted and wondered how you knew what other characters were in the game, and whether they were main or not, you had no thoughts on who the Mafia team might be?

Also part of your reasonings for voting me is that you say I have been acting the most mafia like throughout the whole game. Why havent you mentioned this or voted for me before, if that is what you truly believe?

If someone is just 'saying' I am Mafia, it could be that they are on the Mafia team and don't want to actually lie. So they can just say that they are saying I am on the Mafia team.

 

If they say they believe I am Mafia, and they are really mafia, then they can be caught out in a lie, because a member of the Mafia Team wouldnt truly believe I was mafia.
