Good catch! Although, I guess the fact that the Band has one isn't that surprising. Mat would have no difficulty finding one in Caemlyn either. The question is - will he think of bringing one before he sets off to the Tower?

He took it with him to Salidar, so for similar reasons (to intimidate the AS?) he might take it with him to the WT.

 

(OTOH, < shameless theory plug, see Caemlyn battle thread > if I'm right about him being taken to the WT for healing after meeting Olver in mortal combat during the Caemlyn conflict, I don't think the rescue party will wait to pick up his baggage < /stp > )

I think the seanchan will attack the FoM, a surprise attack there with their full might would cripple light and be kinda awesome since the seanchan would then get rear ended by some ugly trolloc

I think its possible that at some time Fortuona may end up with an a'dam around her neck. Remember the dream of a hard faced Seanchan woman handing an a'dam to Egwene. I think that that is Egeanin and that will have some bearing on the attack or the WT relations with the Seanchan.
