Public speaking *shudder*

Actually I'm alright at it... If there's not a teacher with a pencil and a clipboard grading me. I have a fear of grades :P

And public speaking has nothing to do with being a people person. Just be friendly and don't stand in the corner glaring :P

I would love to teach chaos theory to people, just to see their faces when their minds are blown

Mmhm, chaos theory.

Here's another...fun...one from math today: We're taking our weekly test, and suddenly our math teacher says "Bless You" followed about a half-second later by someone sneezing...

Also, our band director wore a chicken on his head.

Ok, it's sorta instinctual most of the time. Just a gut feeling (the "proof" behind me having this "gift" is that I would say "stop doing that or you'll die when my cousin was playing Mario and then it happened, knowing that these two people would end up together, knowing that this girl was bad news (and she ended up toying with, manipulating, and really hurting 3 people really close to me), that sort of thing. If I have this "gift" it isn't very refined or specific yet).

Oh, story about my uncle: He and my aunt like to go and gamble. They spend a lot of weekends at a casino about 45 minutes (I think) from where they live. Well anyway one night they're on their way home, my uncle's in the passenger seat passed out (and probably at least a little drunk) and my aunt's driving. It's mostly backroads through cornfields to their house, there's no one else on the roads, so she's going pretty quickly, and kinda getting drowsy.

Suddenly my uncle sits up and yells "DEER!" and my aunt slammed on the brakes. A few seconds later, up ahead where my aunt would have been if she hadn't stopped, a deer bounded across the road. It wouldn't have been visible until my aunt wouldn't have been able to dodge it.

A about a decade back, my uncle was convinced that it was going to be my grandpa's last Christmas so he was adamant about everybody coming down and spending this last Christmas with Grandpa.

My grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer's the following year, and wasn't quite... There after that. He was sometimes, I could see it in his eyes, but...

So yeah I'm not sure how it is for my uncle but from what I gathered it's just a feeling sort of thing for him too. He's named it though (I believe his "psychic side"'s name is "Earl") so maybe it's a voice in his head :P

For me though when people say I do that sort of stuff it's just a gut thing. I'm apparently an impath (can sense emotions/thoughts) as well.

*Shrug* idk if it's actually anything though.... Just... idk gut feelings

Yeah, and pfft, Chaos Theory is way more Light-like than Shadow-like.

I wouldn't quite agree, Locke. Care to go into further detail?

.... we're reading that one differently. and also.... well, nvm.

just in general, i don't see prophets as happy people so much as driven. and their prophecies are, at least in terms of the near future, horror shows. again, we would likely disagree on their meanings re the far future, but... prophesizinig the death of most of the people now living and the destruction of everything now held dear... would not make happy feelings for even your most sanctified and mentally.... different... prophets. imo.

it takes an insanely, and i use that term deliberately, strong mind and stomach to look past and through the apocalypse and see the kingdom of heaven.
