Hi, Please Read My Post. I'M NEW (to Dragonmount), but we're all awesome because we read this series....and Slightly off topic, but I'm calling dibs NOW on playing Mat in a movie.....BOOM..pretty sure that's legally binding right there.

 

I'm on my 3rd read-through of WoT and just read Chapter 8 (Jarra) of The Dragon Reborn. Not the best chapter in the book/series by far...and definitely not the worst...but WOW, what a HELL of a chapter for Perrin. One of those chapters where Jordan ninjas in an ocean-liner-cargo amount of character development, backstory, and Ta'veren stuff...basically a heady little short story inside 14 pages that I obviously didn't catch my first two times reading the novel. Soooooooooo YEA that's about it...no MoL spoilers or anything...Just 14 pages you should go read.............RIGHT NOW................

i personally find the slightly larger font easier to read, but i think you'll find that the very large and bold fonts kind of make people feel like you're shouting at them, and they may respond crankily. (dear lord, forgive me, that's my first wink ever, and i feel kind of icky now.)

 

but great to see someone so excited over the WoT.

 

regretfully, i have no chapters for you, and do not generally follow orders, but thanks for yours just the same.

I'm not far ahead of you with my latest re-read! Jarra was a pretty good chapter...

 

For me, I like all chapters where the golden trio stand up to the AS... The first real moment of that was Elayne, in book 7. They are in Ebou Dar, in Tylan's palace. I think Nynaeve is off drowning in the lake after Mogi Balefires her.

 

Elayne has been raised to AS, but the others are still treating her as accepted, and tell her that she is to sit quietly or they'll slipper her. (can't remember exactly what went of there, its been a while since I read it.). But her standing up to the AS right then and there, telling the maid to leave the room and then firing into her 'sisters'... Thats my Jarra!! Don't know what the chapter is called... Book 7, if I recall correctly.

 

Might not be epic enough for you though!
