Hello,

First of, I would like to introduce myself to the Dragonmount community. My name is Kevin, I'm a teacher for students with special needs, and I started reading Robert Jordan's book series about 3 years ago. I started reading the books out of order, solely by accident, but i found that manner suprizingly interesting. I began reading book twelve, and realized I was missing huge chuncks of the story because I didn't understand the backstory. I stuck with it, and I liked it enough to want to learn more. Amid a few breaks and reading book 12, I have gone right through sequentially. Now, I'm now on book four, the Shadow Rising.

Really quick, which book or books from this series are most memorable to you? If you are anything like me, great books are those that you can read over and over. For me, it's really any of them, but specifically related to memory, I would have to say I feel most happy rereading Book 1. Let me know.

Kevin

Welcome, Kevin! I read WOT in order, but did something similar with another fantasy series - Twelve Houses by Sharon Shinn. I read the third book first, because I didn't realize there were 2 others. It was actually really cool to go back and read the first two books afterwards; it was like getting a prequel :)

I really like rereading TEotW too. Out of the whole series, it's not one of my top 3 or anything, but it's always so much fun to reread, and see the characters so innocent and "young" after how far they've come later in the series.

I really enjoy The Shadow Rising, too, it's one of my favorites.

Hello. I wish I could give you answer about favorite but I love all of them. I might like the first just a bit more but... I am kinda new myself and still fumbling around the forums but there are some great threads. Well, welcome and enjoy, I love it here.
