hello everyone...i'm a WoT maniac from a country most people know as india!

I just finished reading The Towers of Midnight and can barely contain my excitement!!!

i found book 1 by accident in a second hand book store!!!...got hooked, and the rest is history! :P

have managed to convert 3-4 of my friends too!...1 of them is up to date with the series...the other two are still on book 1 :|

ohk, i have a doubt...how do d various social groups work??...im completely ignorant of this fact...i mean, can u join more dan 1...nd wat do u do in it aftr u join??

p.s: dis is d first forum im actually 'active' in...hence the ignorance! *shameful*

Not to worry

 

1) Yeah you can join various groups, (When needed, I'll give as an example the WHite Tower cause it's the one I know the most about)

 

2) In most groups you can find pinned topics, usually titled something along the lines of "New members - sign up here." From there then, you'll get added to the relevant groups and you'll see their private boards.

 

3) On the main board - generally also a pinned topic you'll find something explaining the rules of the org and what they are all about. if in doubt you can always contact one of the Group Staff and ask them about things.

 

If you have one specific Org in mind and would like me to walk you through it, I won't mind. Oh and on a side note, try and refrain from using sms speak (or abbreviated words).

On Social Groups: What Tynaal said. Just sign up in the sign up thread and then the members will fill you in from there. Each Social Group have their own little things they do, but the underlying theme in all of them is, well, being social!

Sorry about the sms lingo...guess I have become too used to my phone! :P

As such, my semester finals are going on right now :( , and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep track...so I think I'll put of joining one of the clubs as soon as they get over!
