The First Law, Best Served Cold, The Heroes

While going through these forums, I noticed that while one of my favorite series outside of WoT was being discussed (ASoIaF), the works of Joe Abercrombie seem nowhere to be found on here.

 

It is a crapsack world, meaning that as people almost all the characters have little to no redeeming qualities, but they are all so interesting to read about. Particularly I like Sand dan Glokta, once dashing army officer turned disfigured crippled torturer, and Logen Ninefingers, a great barbarian.

 

If any of you have read the series and its two standalone novels I would love to discuss it and I would love to recommend this series to all who have not read it.
