Character History:

 

Kaden Sahdeo (pr: Kay-den Sar-day-oh) is from a small family in a remote village on the out skirts of Amadicia, near the Tarabon border. In general, very little happens there. He was brought up with typical Amadician beliefs, namely that darkfriends are not to be tolerated and Aes Sedai are to be treated with a lot of suspicion, although his village is so remote that in general his people are not as devout in these beliefs as the White Cloak populace. They just get on with their own lives and never assume to be affected by such things.

 

Kaden’s father Alden is a hunter, providing both food and furs for his village. He trained Kaden and his older brother Matheu in the arts of hunting and foraging, although Kaden, a gentle child by nature, was less capable than his older, more muscular brother. Kaden was his mother’s favourite, a cute, honest boy with a ready smile and sense of humour, and an insatiable curiosity, as much as Matheu, 4 years his senior was his father’s favourite, taller, more muscular and darker in appearance and mood. Matheu became an efficient hunter with a spear, and would often go out alone and bring back food for the family. Kaden, by contrast, would stay at home, and never really grew up, listening to stories and playing games with the younger children in the village, only going out to learn his father’s trade when pushed to do so. He was a proficient rider and had a natural ability with the bow, however, which somewhat satisfied his father’s criticism of him, and gathered a good knowledge of woodcraft under his father’s tutelage, wether he wanted to or not.

 

As the two children grew, the difference between them became more marked. Matheu began to spend longer and longer in the woods on his own, and unbeknown to his family took to catching small animals and skinning them alive. He would often come home from these excursions in a malicious mood, and took to tormenting his younger brother. Their mother would almost always intervene before any damage was done, their father would say it was just “part of boys growing up.” Alden almost always took his older son’s side in any dispute.

Sadly, everything soon began to go wrong...

Sounds ominous. I presume with being left hanging in that way that some kind of proposed storyline has been submitted and approved by the Warders Staff? We're not going to be hit by any weird plotlines?

Following this, I have an Rp planned out with Keyholders character, Mimi Telonne, whereby she is tracking a darkfriend who is creating DF cells in various places, and starts one in Kaden’s village. Matheu falls under this influence, as does most of the village, and Kaden’s parents are killed when trying to stand up to this crowd. Mimi intervenes in time to save Kaden’s life, and the two end up on the run together before ending up back at the White Tower, where Kaden will begin his training.
