Why, hello!

Hello lovely forum of joy! *waves*

 

My fiance introduced me to WoT about, oh...three years ago? Read four of the books, but then got consumed by other cares, and years passed me by, not unlike a certain familiar wind. I returned to the series a few months back, determined to get myself caught up. And now here I am, just a day after finishing The Gathering Storm (and, goodness, here we are, only a month shy of the release of The Towers of Midnight!), thoroughly obsessed and seeking an outlet. I'm so used to immediately jumping in to the next book that the thought of waiting four weeks (are you SERIOUS?!?!) is making me...well...a bit twitchy. I can't imagine what it's been like for those who've had to wait years (though I'll certainly be finding out soon!).

 

I'm usually of a rather quiet nature, but I hope to be joining in discussions and perhaps getting involved in the RP. In any case, it's good to have stumbled upon this place!

Personally I don't find the wait for books that bad. It's when you have a good book and read a load of chapters and then have to put it down, sleep and go to work the next day.

 

During work all I will be thinking about is getting back to read the next chapters.

The wait for books don't bother me! Though I have finally pre-ordered the UK paperback version of The Gathering Storm, which out this week. So I am guessing it will be about another year for Book 13!

I hope you enjoy it here and find the boards that suite you best with ease. I also hav a dreadful time waiting for the books to come out. But at least they released chapter one, the prolog, and the first matt chapter to help fill the hole.

Ya know, I honestly have no idea at this point, haha! I'm just starting to get back into RP after a long hiatus (why did I stop? Such a silly thing to do), so I'm still working on getting those creative juices flowing again. Inspiration shall strike after a few days of browsing, I'm sure!
