Who said the following quote and what movie is it from? "How doth the little crocodile improve his shining tail. And pour the waters of the Nile, on every golden scale. How cheerfully he seems to grin, how neatly spreads his claws. And welcomes little fishes in, with gently smiling jaws."

What poem is this saying a parity of?

This is from Alice in Wonderland the person who said it was Alice herself. (I would know! When I was in the third grade I took ballet and I had to recite this poem to the audience.)

Something from Shakespeare I think. I have no idea.

It is a parity from "Against Idleness And Mischief", a poem in Divine Songs for Children, by Isaac Watts, which goes:

How doth the little busy Bee

Improve each shining Hour,

And gather Honey all the day

From every opening Flower!

How skilfully she builds her Cell!

How neat she spreads the Wax!

And labours hard to store it well

With the sweet Food she makes.

In Works of Labour or of Skill

I would be busy too:

For Satan finds some Mischief still

For idle Hands to do.

In Books, or Work, or healthful Play

Let my first Years be past,

That I may give for every Day

Some good Account at last.

Children were made to dress up and recite poems at parties for their parents, when this poem was written. Alice and Wonderland is full of parities about this and other practices.

Your turn, BaLe!

There was a Disney movie that was supposed to have a scene with a near-sighted, short-tempered rhinoceros who would encounter a man and a bear after the fall of a Kings palace.

What was the name of this movie and what was the name of the rhinoceros?

Okay now my question is about Disneyland, rather than Disney in general.  How many rides are there at Disneyland Park?

If we only consider what you could arguable call a "ride," then Disneyland has 36 rides:

Autopia, presented by Chevron

Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes

Mad Tea Party

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Indiana Jones™ Adventure

Matterhorn Bobsleds

Space Mountain

Splash Mountain

Star Tours

Astro Orbitor

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage New

Gadget's Go Coaster, presented by Sparkle®

Haunted Mansion

Jungle Cruise

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

Pirates of the Caribbean

Snow White's Scary Adventures

Alice in Wonderland

Casey Jr. Circus Train

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

"it's a small world"

King Arthur Carrousel

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Peter Pan's Flight

Pinocchio's Daring Journey

Storybook Land Canal Boats

Disneyland® Monorail

Disneyland® Railroad

Fire Engine, presented by National Car Rental

Horseless Carriage, presented by National Car Rental

Mark Twain Riverboat

Omnibus, presented by National Car Rental

Sailing Ship Columbia

Well according to Disney...there is only one "ride" at the park.  And it is the tram ride from the parking lot to the park entrance.  Everything else is an "attraction."  The things they make you remember when you work for Disneyland!  haha  ;)I also now use only Disney characters for letters when I have to spell something for someone.  Forget Alpha or Bravo...I use Aladdin or Alice and Belle!  ;)

Great questions! I so an ready to go to Disney World. I am waiting for my kids to get a little older so they remember it.

Portebello road, Portebello road!

Street where the riches of ages are stowed

Anything and everything a chap can unload

Is sold off the barrow in Portebello road.

What movie is this song from and who sang it?

Wonderful! You got it right.

Your turn!  ;)

I did?!   :o

Really?

In this 1961 Disney movie, a girl smashes a man on the head with a hammer and ties him in a bag.

What is the name of the girl and the man?

What is the name of the movie?
