ATTN BANDERS - Corki's Erractic Internet Access

Ok...I am going to have erractic internet access over the next weeks (and already have had it).

 

2 weeks ago, my laptop died, and then I went on holiday last week. I will be attempting to take out my hard drive to retrieve information off it (i don't have a hard drive problem, but I want to salvage stuff off there), and then sending my machine off to be fixed.

 

Add on top of that, I am working a tad more than usual (I am a university student and need the cash), so that is restricting my online time.

 

I also have a funeral to go to sometime next week.

 

And then after that, I am moving into my house up in London for the coming university term, and need to sort out my internet connection up there.

 

As a result, I don't think I will be fully operational until the end of September. Therefore, if you have anything important to do with the Band of the Red Hand ORG side, do email/PM me, and I will do my best to reply when I can get on. Otherwise, if you haven't got a reply from me after 3 or 4 days, speak to F Horn of Valere, as he is leading the Band in my absence at the moment.

 

All this is really annoying me, but I hope it will be all sorted soon.

- start the interviews for those who applied to be Under-Commander

- get the Band Lottery up and running

- finish the website off (if I can salvage the info off the hard drive, otherwise I have a lot of work to do)

- anything else that needs doing!

Latest news:

 

I am moving into the house on Thursday 14th September. The internet will be on of the first things that my friends and I will be sorting out. I will post here as soon as my internet access is up and running.

 

Also, the funeral is on Monday 25th September, and I will be settled into the house by then.

My laptop has been sent in to retrieve the information off it. I am not sure if the problem is being fixed as well, but I am not 100% sure when I am getting it returned.

Latest news on my laptop:

 

It seems that my hard drive on my laptop was on its way to doom, according to the Apple man repairing it. As a result, he is having to replace my hard drive (and taking off all the information as well). But because Apple hard drives aren't easy to come by, it is going to take between 10-15 days to repair. Therefore, I will have to borrow my friends' computers while in the house.

 

Once I get it back, I will be able to get all that needs doing started.

All the internet stuff has arrived...and we need to sort out the line that appears in my room, as the rooter is going to be based there.

 

All that needs to happen now is for my laptop to arrive...
