Agree. I like Moghedien.

I remember a scene in FOH when she meets the Black Sisters in that manor in Tarabon that made me laugh out loud. She scared the hell out of them, and they were all 'yes Great Mistress, of course Great Mistress' and she cared nothing about them, she was like 'yeaaaah but this tea just needs more honey'. LOL!

Ah, and the way she put Liandrin in her place.. Great! I hate Liandrin, she totally deserved that!

I always liked Lanfears original incarnation before crappy Cyndane.

Likewise but I suppose dying, having your power reduced and being mind-trapped do break down someone's self esteem a bit, haha.

Lanfear used to be a sort of enigmatic character, someone that the other Chosen could never be sure what her agenda was. A lone ranger almost. Someone who valued their freedom and being under Moridin's thumb does dampen that.

I definitely find Moghedien the most interesting of the Forsaken, personally. For me, it's curiosity about what her motivations are. For most of them, it's quite clear - they want power, influence, adoration, wealth, the chance to study people forever - but I never got a clear impression of what Moghedien wanted from her actions or her POV segments. She is 'the Spider', a creature of shadows, clearly uninterested in adoration. She doesn't try to get a foothold of political power somewhere. There is no indication from any of her POV pieces that she is a scholar, nor that she is particularly fond of wealth. She wants to live forever, yes, that much is clear from the sneaking around, gathering information and staying out of harm's way as much as possible - but to what end? Why does she want to live forever? None of the other Forsaken seem to know anything about her, either - Graendal especially is very good at reading people, and not even she gives us much insight - and that lack intrigues me.

Shaidar Haran, why? Because hes a Fade and who really knows how Fade's think and act.Does he have a connection with Moridin or a completely seperate agenda?

(Plus I think he killed Asmodean, thus should get evil points for the whole "Who killed Asmodean" inquiry)
