Besides the Thanos scene, apparently after the credits

"in a second coda, the Avengers eat in silence at a shawarma restaurant."

But at the end as maria hill is walking away from fury she hands someone a clipboard or something and it looked like coulson to me.

LMD? Maybe Tonys joke earlier was more than just an easter egg...

Or...Coulson becomes Vision! :)

I'll probably feel like an idiot when you say but what is LMD?

That would be awesome!

On a side note, I was just looking up Iron Man 3 and apparently, The Mandarin is the bad guy but they're also going with the Extremis story arc. Wondering how that's going to work out with future movies. Cause IIRC after he gets injected with that, he get's all The Guyver and can just like go in and out of his suit at will.

LMD = Life Model Decoy, exact copies of a person, so good it is impossible to tell the difference between original and copy. In the comics, they are SHIELDs tech. So in theory, if they have saved Coulsons conscience, they should be able to put it into a LMD and have him around again.

Ahh okay. I haven't read up a lot on SHIELD. I need to. He's not actually canon is he? Like he was created for the first Iron man movie?

But if that being the case then could he have been around for a lot longer than he appears to have been? I read some little snippet about him saying that his character has all sorts of dark secrets in his fictional past or something to that effect.

Coulson was created for the movies. of course, since he became a very popular character he has now appeared in the comics.

As for him having dark secrets in his past, he is an agent of SHIELD. Their cafeteria staff has seen more nastiness than the regular marine.

Just watched it.

It had a lot of memorable scenes, and it was Fun/Entertaining. Oscar worthy? No, But it was good, and I can definately see Whedon's Directing in this movie.

Though, there are things that nit-pick at me, in that some of the humor seems to stretch to much of the same type across the movie. Its kinda hard to describe at this point without the movie next to me, and me able to cite exact refrences from youtube, but it almost seemed every character that had a 'funny/entertaining' scene, were acting to much alike? I dunno..Best way i can put it is, you'd expect low brow humor from some characters, and high brow from others, and it seemed all the humor was mid-brow? (I suspect that Colsun = Whedons favorite character FYI)

That's a good way to put it lol. But he seems like Fury's...Right hand? Or is Maria hill his right hand? Either way, that could mean his are pretty off the wall when it comes to Marvel standards.

In the comics, Maria Hill is often second in command after Fury, and in some ways his right hand. She seems to have that role in the movie. Coulson seems more like a fairly specialised agent - being the guy on the field dealing with stuff and crazy people.
