Ellyena's Soul

I've been thinking about Ellyena and her soul presumably Elayne....

I'd say she is definitely one of the characters reborn but is it Elayne?

Elayne has the same shade of hair as Ellyena and there names are similar

but is that good enough evidence.

Just before Moiraine & Lanfear went through the Red stone doorway

LTT moans about Ellyena, maybe preventing Rand from killing Lanfear...

I had a thought...could Moraine be Ellyena?

It wasn't till after Moiraine & Lanfear went through the doorway

that LTT started going off about killing Ellyena...

Maybe because of his failure to kill Lanfear he feels

responsible for Moiraine's(Ellyena's) death...He new how to kill Lanfear from LTT

memories but refused to do it.

I know there is very little evidence to support my theory but

you don't usually get reborn looking the same as you did and those Souls

who were connected in marriage in another life do not necessarily

get together and marry in this life.

Lets face it if your man killed you and the kids would you take him back?...*Joking*

Rand already trusts Moiraine and I do believe Moiraine along with Nyneve

will link with Rand holding Callandor, Moiraine controlling the weave.

If there is evidence naming Elayne as Ellyena's soul I'd like to hear it.

I think that threads are only re-woven back into the pattern when the age that gave birth to them comes around again, with the exception of a few (i.e. Birgitte, The Dragon). So personally I don't think Elayne or Moiraine is Ellyena.

There is no indication that Ilyena was reborn as any character in the series.

I am off the opinion that Ilyena  is not dead, which is why she has not been reborn in the series.

 

My evidence is simple.  In the prologue to The Eye of the World, RJ clearly describes her body moving in answer to Lews Therin's calls.  You may say that this was because the palace was shaking because of the damage Lews Therin had brought, but I say that she used the earth-tremors to hide her true condition from her husband from fear of his insanity, ad she only moved in the first place because she was a) in an awkward position and b) there was a little stone digging into her back.

 

After Lews Therin went all Dragonmount on us, I believe she went and hid her self in a stasis box.  What she intends to do from there, nobody knows.

Why would she do that if she could just make a gateway.  Versus making earthquakes?
