[Red's Mini Mafia] The Matrix - Congrads Town

Sorry about being so quiet lately (and especially in this game). I'm visiting my wife's family and don't have much chance to get online. Here's my list of suspects: I have no list. I have gut feelings to go on, but those are not good reasons for a day 2 lynch. We really do need to get everyone posting here or this game is gonna take forever. I'll start:

 

pandy- inactive? true. Scum? Can't tell. An inactive player sending in a PM takes just as long for the mafia as for the town and many people have told me that in a game this small most people will have a role. We can't call him scum based on that. Too many other people haven't posted much either and nobody seems to be jumping on them. I do have a tendency to trust Al at this point and if it comes down to it I will vote for pandy to avoid a modkill at this point in the game.

 

Pete- I'm always suspicious of Pete the same way I'm always suspicious of DPR. They both always play like they're mafia even when they're town. Hard to tell the difference.

 

Sarah-I haven't played much with you and I haven't seen much of you in this game, so I have no read on you either way.

 

Tigs- Tend to believe from your posts that you are town, but again this is just that gut feeling I was talking about. All things are susceptible to change in this game.

 

MCS- Also someone that has not posted much to look into (i reiterate that this goes for 95 percent of our players) an  therefore have no read on you either way.

 

Aemohn- I amthoroughly convinced that he is a townie with only the towns best interests at heart. I can't imagine him doing anything that could harm the town in any way, shape or form.  ;D

Pete, I already gave you my reasons for not voting for ed. Which, by the way, you never did comment on.

 

If I would've been the first couple of people to vote for ed...I would have seemed scummy.  If I would've been in the middle few...scummy.  The last few....scummy.  Not at all...scummy.  I thought you were one of the "middle few" scum theory, Pete.

We have to get talking, people, or the mod is going to decide for us. I'm pretty sure we don'r want that to happen. I'm going to hold off on changing my vote for now pending the arguements of others. I am just using MCS as a placeholder, not a scum vote. I do tend to believe Al more than Pandy, but I want to hear other people's arguements before making my final decision. I already understand pandy's point of view and Al's. I 3want to hear from other people.

I was not defending I was stating facts.  You tried to throw suspicion on me for not voting for ed, when it is my distinct experience that you usually go after the few middle voters.

 

Now you try yet again when I ask you to comment on the answer to a question you asked me?  Come on Pete....you can do better than that.

I could OMGUS Pete but I don't think he is scum and that wouldn't be helpful to the team.  I don't want to get modkilled again ( :-* Red) for not voting so I am going with [glow=red,2,300]Pandy[/glow].  Again, this is for reasons that I can not say.  He has seemed off to me in the posts that he has made and I would rather go with my instincts and what little experience I have.

Tigs I'm inclined to think you are innocent just paranoid. Who do you think is scum and why? Do you have any suspicions as to why there wasn't a night kill last night?

Have you ever been in a game with Pete before?  If so then I'm sure you've seen his reasoning as far as voters 4-7 or whatever the middle numbers tend to be.  It's not being paranoid to wonder why someone suddenly changes their playing beliefs.

Yes, actually I do!  In a game this small it is possible that the healer or role blocker chose the right person to use their night actions on.  Like I said...I have my suspicions.

I think the game was a little stacked in our favor, in my opinion. The town shouldn't have had any of the neighbor abilities and I think Aemon/Tank should have been a solo win. *Shrugs*

yeah i was actually thinking that myself Al :)  about it being stakced in the towns favor.  i thought giving the Mafia the ability to win via killing a certain person needed to be offsetted with powerful roles for the town

 

with the mafia, i tried to give them a good ability.  the Theif ability just seemed to fit and give them a good upper hand had it been used.  also, i set in the game the option to recruit Morpheus who knew not only who Neo was but also about the condition with Trinity being his Body Gaurd.

 

 

i for saw what might happen had Morph been recruited and the theif still lived.  the theif would steal Trinity's ability and would nk Neo effectively winning the game.

 

because of this potentail hazord i felt the town needed some safe gaurd outside of the trio.  which came the Paronoid Doctor.

 

 

i'm still feeling out how i want to use the "Tracker" role.  Tank was obviously perfect for this role considering his character.  and also taking into acount his character on the movie i set the dynamics of his character.  in retrospect, i think he might have been a bit too powerful; especially if the character is on a team. in a way it gave the town two finders and i think this is the character that actually stacked the deck against the mafia.

 

with the Oracle, given her character i liked how i set it up.

 

 

really the only characters i'm not happy with are Tank and Smith (because i didn't give Smith a seperate ability until Ed died)

 

 

 

 

interesting concept on the solo win pair.  *taps chin*  i like this *grins*
