I just started reading the series a month ago. I began "Dragon Reborn" just two days ago. This series has completely sucked me in. I know you all must read this kinda junk every day but I just have to get it out of my system!

 

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Impeccable writing. Wonderful characters that pop right out of the pages. All I can say is awesome, incredible positive things about the series and thing is I just got started. Long way to go but I am SO looking forward to this incredible journey

How did you come across WoT?  Did someone recommend it?

A very good friend of mine recommended it. We became friends because of the extensive Lord Of The Rings discussions we used to have. He told me about the series then but I just forgot and recently it came up again so I got Eye of The World.

 

I usually read sitting or laying down, you know, like a normal person. lol but I sometimes just can't! The story gets so...active sometimes that I walk around to get some stress out. while reading of course. I won't drop the book! haha

I chanced upon the book in my teacher's library.

I read laying down on the couch usually, and if something is exciting, I kick the couch. :D

haha yeah I've kicked my bed a few good times as well. When did you find out about the series?

About 3 years ago. I was looking for a book to read, and my teacher had a bunch of books that were alright, but not as interesting to me.

So, I kept looking, and in one small section, she had about 10-15 Fantasy books.

She had the Starscape versions of tEotW, and the first half of tGH. I took them home and fell into the world of the Wheel. :)

 

I have reread the series about 3 times. (New Spring only twice, and tGS once).

Is tGS worthy of the legacy? my friend said he didn't even feel a difference between authors.

I didn't really feel a big difference...but the book was really great.
