Admit it, Verbal. I played you the entire game. You were singing my praises up to the point where Tigraine got lynched. You had no idea who I was.  ;D

Sorry, but no.  I'll grant you that I figured Tigs was mafia over you, but that was simply because of numbers.  The mafia had a benefit by having a claim and counterclaim, and I figured with DPR as mafia you would come out as the fake claim up front.  That made me think Tigs was mafia.

But...I never voted for her.  I was voting for DPR, who I've known was mafia since the code.  And then Pete.....and I repeated this multiple times.

So you played me?  Don't pat yourself on the back too much there - you rode DPR's coattails to where you are.  ;)

And I still haven't sent in my protection.  I meant to yesterday, but couldn't make it online.  Here we go.

No pressure now - just relax, take a deep breath, and don't think about what's going to happen if...well...you know.

Everybody shhhhhh...He's going to do it now...

Okay, I just changed mine. I'm thinking about just putting the four names on a 20 minute rotation, and whoever Red sees when she gets back on will be the lucky winner. Or, un-lucky winner, as the case may be.

You watch as the Nurse stands up, you can see her physically preparing herself for the oncoming confrontation; the Thug steps over to her side and cracks his knuckles in a menacing way, glaring disdainfully at the Blond and Charles.

“It would seem, from how events unfolded that Peggy was telling the truth.  At least her death wasn’t in vain, unlike the others tonight.”

The rest of the group started to walk over to where the Nurse and Thug stood, making a show of who they believed; shakily you got to your feet but remained standing there, preferring to stay out of the fight in a vain attempt to keep from further injury.  Charles still wore that self assured smile on his lips, he looked over at you and winked; you recoiled from the gesture, not wanting to be linked with this cold blooded mad man in any way.  A smooth chuckle softly escaped from his throat and he shrugged in an almost innocent fashion.

“So you caught us, big deal; the fact remains that there are 3 of us and only 4 of you.  While the odds of numbers are in your favor, you can’t really think you have a chance right?”  He looked at the Blond in an almost fond type of way.

“What did the man call it, something like ‘Destiny for us to overcome the odds’.  You see, Jenny, Me and Breese are what you might call an unstoppable force; really its best for all of us if you guys just give up now.  You will lose, like Jig said, it’s Destiny.”

Jenny rolled her eyes at Charles taunting, there was a reason she preferred little boys to obstinate obnoxious men; she began examining her fingernails ideally for chips or breaks.

All but the Nurse began to fidget in the group, she stood her ground and seemed to not be phased at all by Charles taunts.  “This isn’t about winning or loosing, its about surviving; if you wont hand over the codes so all of us can leave then we’ll just have to take them from you.”

As the Thug and Nurse lead he others forward to charge Charles the lights flickered off.  In the dim light of the TV you watched as the outlines of the group of 4 stopped uncertainty, a blur of movement was seen and then the sounds of a struggle filled the air.  You tensed, unsure of the outcome; after a few minutes the struggle died down and the lights flickered back on.

As your eyes adjusted to the light, you noticed with a shock that the Nurse had Charles pinned to the ground; the Thug rushed over to grab Charles before he could escape the nurses strong hands.  There was a look of furry and amazement on Charles’s face as he struggled against her grip; Jenny had paled visibly and began to look around the room as the remaining two people closed in on her.

Day has dawned and there are no deaths.

Nice work Verbal! Points to you for not choking and knowing that you were the target all along.

Now, let's see...what to do next...

I also hope that everyone understands that the codes have been engaged, and nothing is what it appears to be.

Alright, this is killing me to tell you - we didn't even send a NK in last night - we went went "option B".

Verbal, as much fun as it was to bait you, it wasn't exactly what we made it out to be.

The codes have been engaged, and your clues are in Red's scenes. I'll give you a hint though - the obvious action isn't going to help you much. *boom* *smooch*

Just in case DPR is telling the truth, or part of it, let's rally the town together and make a decision.  We have until Monday, so I suggest we use this time.

And in case I did block the kill - I was going with the assumption that DPR would have wanted to win with flair and kill me, thinking that I'd flail around and select somebody else.  I was protecting myself the whole time.

So I think a re-read of anything Red has said is in order, in case the mafia isn't lying....which would be a first, lol.

Yeah I agree - that's why I didn't jump right in with a vote. One thing to keep in mind - what I remember from the Saw movie was that the answer was right in front of everyone's noses.

Ya know what, there's no secret here.  This is a standard game - there is nothing special about it....the codes, while posted by the mafia the last 3 days, are exactly that - codes posted by the mafia.  Red's scenes are just flair.

Based on the posts from the mafia prior to last night, and especially during last night, I've come to the conclusion that DPR's hints about codes engaged is a crock, and a last ditch effort by the mafia.  I blocked their kill.  Let's lynch them and win this thing.

Engaging codes or something like that is not part of a standard game - this isn't one of DPR's wacky games - this is Red's standard mafia game.  Her awesome writing skills have added some great dramatic effect to the scenes, but that's all it is - dramatic effect.

Besides, to play along - we're all in the same room, here.  They couldn't have "engaged" any codes without us knowing.  They are pulling this straight out of their collective arses.....or more likely DPR's.  ;)

Town:  you didn't trust me before when I said let's lynch DPR.  Please do so now.  And don't pay attention to the long winded post he'll make, trying to convince us that lynching a mafia will lose us the game.  Like I said above, they couldn't engage codes when we are all in this same spot together.  It does not fit, and therefore is a lie.  Lynch all liars.

Bravo! Bravo! Very good!

There's just one problem: why go through all of this trouble if we could have just stayed silent, not revealed, and won the game by lynching you today? And let's not have any arguments that that wouldn't have happened...I think we all know how those end up. heh

Nope, the real problem (that you seem very excited for everyone to ignore) is that although this is a standard game as far as roles are concerened, it would seem that certain liberties were granted to Red as far as the codes go.

So in an unprecedented move,and you may wnat to sit down for this, I'm going to tell a little bit of the truth (and, in point of fact, I already have);

The codes were sent to us. We didn't have them before they were sent, and we don't know exactly what they mean. We were each told that we had to post them, but after my reveal on the first day this was no longer a surpirse...)

After being sent all of the codes, Red gave us the choice of foregoing the nightkill to engage them. We were doing well, so we decided to take a chance, and said yes.

We received a new countdown - and it ends at the same time as current one, but I don't think it's an end-of-day clock, if you catch my drift.

Long story short, here's the deal: We feel that Jigsaw has made one player in this game a bomb, and if we don't lynch them, they will die and most likely take others with them. I don't know if they can win as solo's, or if they've marked others, or if it's a hammer vote kind of deal - I do know that if we lynch the right person, the clock will stop.

We asked Red a lot of questions, got a lot of PAFO's, but were told that the clues are absolutely posted in the scenes.

Which brings me back to Verbal. It alsways seems to come back to Verbal...

[glow=red,2,300]Verb[/glow] for being the key that will unlock the room and let everyone live. More evidence to come, but I'm not going to give everything away so that we wind up in another endless argument, you know?

I love you, Wes.  Wanna know why?  Cause you never give up.

Now I'm a bomb?  :o  Re-reads role PM.  Nope.  Healer, yes.  Bomb?  Um...no.  So I was made one without me knowing, ala Jigsaw kinda thing?  Ahhhh.....no.  You're digging for anything to save you.

Ok, I'm off now....toodles.

*gooses Wes on the way out*
