I've never actually fainted from it, so I think I'm safe. The worst it has gotten is weak knees and actually getting sick.. My dad to this day will tell me if I get sick I don't get any ice cream, and then treats me to ice cream afterwards.. ^_^

Ha, I still make my parents pay for it.. If I'm gonna go through it, they get to pay. I still need my 3rd HPV shot :-\

I had to update my tetanus last winter. I went to the Student CLinic, and then charged it to the same account that my tuition bill is in. :P

 

I was gonna get that HPV shots, but our insurance doesn't cover it.

Well, my dad has really good insurance, and somehow, even though I'm not a student, I'm still on it! :D

All it cost was $10 a shot I think.. They hurt worse than tetnis though! Last time I went in they gave me HPV and tetnis, and I told them to put the worst in my left arm so I could still go to school and write, and they said tetnis was way worse, but no! The HPV is a very thick liquid, so it hurts way worse than anything else.. :-[

wow, that is good! Sincce they are like 150 dollars a shot w/o insurance!

 

That sucks, Adella. When I got my Tetanus, I had to go to Ballet the next morning, and I thought I was gonna die, holding my arm out there like that!

I know how you feel, almost, I had dance the next day, except I did hip-hop and my arm didn't want to move fast enough..

Adella  - I know that in Idaho they cover children up to 25 years now despite if they are in school or not.

I think that is what my dad said they are doing for me.. But I'm not sure, so I just ask every time I need to go to the doctor.. :)

Yes, big problem.. I got to sit out after about 30min and stretch for the rest of class  :-\

I have a love-hate relationship with sitting out in my dance classes. On the one hand, I don't have to do anything. On the other hand, I don't get to do anything.

 

I have to sit out a lot becaus I have bad knees. :(

 

But at least you got to sit and rest those arms! I had to tough through it that time.

I agree with that love-hate relationship.. I sprained my ankle a couple of years ago, and it was REALLY close to competition season, so I had to sit with my foot elevated and watch everyone else dance, so I would know the routine when my ankle healed.. :-\

Yup. Been there, dealt with that. It sucks. I start therapy for my knees next week, and then maybe I won't have to sit through so many classes...I literally sit prolly at least 1 out of every ten classes because of my knees or ankle. :(

My ankle acts up spontaniously..  :-[ Even from being at work for too long or wearing heels for more than an hour..
