Hello, folks! Yeah, the race started at 1:30, but I was playing in my garden! LOL Ooops!

Welcome to Bristol, TN! The Colleseum of NASCAR Motor Sports. It's a half mile track, not much in the way of straightaways, and 34 degree banking in the curves. Bristol is known for starting rivalries between drivers and crews, some of which never recover. This week doesn't seem to be any different. ;)

This week's competitions are:

Kyn vs. Mo

Kyn- #48 Jimmie Johnson, #20 Tony Stewart, #24 Jeff Gordon

Mo- #01 Joe Nemecheck, #6 Mark Martin, #29 Kevin Harvick

Lor vs. Twinny

Lor-#8 Dale Earnhardt, Jr, #16 Greg Biffle, #31 Jeff Burton

Twinny-# 43 Kyle Petty, #17 Matt Kenseth, #55 Michael Waltrip

Hero vs. Daemon

Hero- #1 Martin Truex, Jr, #25 Brian Vickers, #42 Casey Mears

Daemon- #12 Ryan Newman, #9 Kasey Kahne, #38 Elliott Sadler

Good luck everyone!

Oh yeah, for everyone not watching, this is the lap-by-lap for the race so far. Anyone have any questions about why everyone loves Bristol?

Lap 187 -- YELLOW FLAG: Clint Bowyer tags Dave Blaney, collecting David Stremme, Brian Vickers, Michael Waltrip and J.J. Yeley in Turn 4 atop the banking.

Lap 184 -- Ryan Newman and Kevin Harvick, racing for fifth, get side-by-side, touch and walk up the banking.

Lap 169 -- Greg Biffle passes Kyle Busch to get his lap back; he is now on the lead lap after being two laps down at one point.

Lap 168 -- GREEN FLAG: Kyle Busch and Sterling Marlin did not pit, and Busch leads the field to the line.

Lap 57 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kurt Busch passes Greg Biffle for the lead, as Biffle brushed the wall because of a right-front tire that went flat.

Lap 3 -- Jimmie Johnson is on pit road because of contact with Reed Sorenson and has a flat tire.

1:54 p.m. -- FOX reveals their cable camera that will be sliding back and forth across the half-mile track, much like an above-the-field NFL camera. Wonder if the Talladega cam is in production?

1:50 p.m. -- FOX interviews Jimmie Johnson about the return of his crew chief, Chad Knaus, after a four-race suspension. "I'm sure Chad did a lot of reflecting while he was at home," Johnson said.

1:44 p.m. -- Was that Tony Stewart with a Mark Martin winter cap on? (If you're from the South, it's a toboggan.)

1:34 p.m. -- An interview with Kurt Busch results in him filling the void of Rusty Wallace by saying "hot rod" right off the bat.

1:30 p.m. -- FOX's coverage of the Food City 500 is on the air, appropriately billing Bristol Motor Speedway as the modern-day version of Rome's Coliseum.

12:40 p.m. -- It's a cool 40 degrees in Bristol, Tenn., with cloudy skies. Snow flakes fell early this morning, but the sun is expected to peek out during the day. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 2:10 p.m. ET.

Alright, everyone, this week's results!

Mo beats Kyn (409 to 320)

Twinny beats Lor (346 to 342)

Daemon beats Hero (396 to 189)

Congrats to all our winners and YAY Mo for having the most points this week! :D

Next week it's Martinsville, another short track (hopefully without snow this time!) with short tempers and short sprints between cautions!

Best of luck next week! :D

Alright, I'll post this for Dae and Twinny and Mo and Hero who seem to have had their teams chosen for them! LOL

C. Free Agents

Unclaimed drivers (also known as "free agents") can be added to your roster from Tuesday 10:00 am ET until the scheduled TV time (ET) of that weeks race. To add a driver to your roster, first click on the link entitled "Free Agents" on the right side of your screen. Clicking on that link will take you to a screen that lists all of the drivers who are not on a team in your league. When you find a driver you wish to add to your squad, click on the link entitled "Sign", which is listed to the left of that driver's name. Clicking on that link will take you to the "Driver Signing" page. In order to sign the free agent driver, you must first select which driver from your current roster you wish to drop. Note: certain drivers have a special status (for example, they may be involved in a proposed trade) and cannot be dropped. After clicking the box next to the driver you wish to drop, confirm your selection by typing "YES" in the box next to "Confirm". Finalize the transaction by clicking the button entitled "Claim Free Agent". Drivers that are dropped will be available as free agents 24 hours after the drop.

Does that help?

*grins* no problem! It was listed right on the "how to play" link on the right... *pokes*

So, tomorrow at 10 EST, you can go sign up some good ones.

My advice?

Twinny: Keep Kenseth. Keep Rusty, you'll need a bench warmer, anyway. Michael Waltrip usually has a decent enough year, so keeping him isn't a horribly bad idea.

Dae: Keep Ryan Newman, he'll get you a lot of pole points, and usually finishes pretty well, if his car stays together. LOL Keep Kurt Busch and get him OFF your bench! He won this week! and Keep Kasey Kahne, too. he's another good pole winner and usually goes a long way in the race, too. There's a reason he was Rookie of the Year in '05! I'd let Elliot Sadler go, but only because you need a benchwarmer.

Now, good drivers to choose from:

Dale Jarrett (#88- UPS)

Denny Hamlin (#11-Fed Ex)<--he's a rookie and looks like he'll be rookie of the year this year. He's doing REALLY well...

Jeremy Mayfield (#19-UAW) he's very consistant, even if he doesn't win many races.

JJ Yeley (#18-Interstate Batteries) he's been really impressive the last few races. Would do well as a newbie.

Elliot Sadler (#38- M&M's) if Dae lets him go, Twinny, this one would look good on your list! VERY VERY good!

If Mo and Hero want my 2 cents, feel free to ask, I'll tell you how to weed out your lists, too. ;)

Kyle's record is NOTHING like his Dad's. He frequently finishes pretty low on the list, so don't get fooled by his record this year. Jarrett will drive circles around him and Sadler would drive circles around HIM. *nods*
