First of all, I've been following along, and good game, guys! :D  Congrats to the Cult for winning, too. ;)

Nae, you modded a good game, and if I wasn't taking a break from mafia I'd be sure to sign up for your Movie Madness game, it sounds SO fun. :)

 

That's because Meesh was smart.  She didn't ask Min to check the phrase "I am innocent".  She had her check the phrase "I am not mafia".  Which was true.

 

Well when I read that post of Meesh's I sorta cringed inside because I knew what she was doing but I also knew it could backfire.  I guess she didn't have much choice if you assume Min was going to check her.  I hadn't concluded that which was why I just flat out lied and said I was innocent.  Meesh was right and luckily for me, Min chose one of Meesh's posts.

All I could think about, knowing Min was a lie detector, was the Epic Mafia WoT game over on MyndJack, where we had a lie detector out in the open.  People were SO picky about what statement everyone had to make, so that there could be no twisting of words or misinterpretation if the lie detector checked them.  Like, everyone at one point had to post and only say "I win when all threats to the innocents are gone," or else they'd probably have been lynched.  ::)  So the possibility of twisting words or using the truth to mislead was burning on my mind. :D

It did work out, although it did have the downside of leading someone to figure out that Wombat/Myself was cult (fortunately too late to do something, though! ;)).
