umm ok are we talking about wrestling and DX now? seriosly dude show some class. It was a good game heartbreaker on my side but a good game all the same. glad my team didnt give up trust me they would of been completely rolled up under bowden but they kept fighting. Only saw the clemson GT game yesterday cause i was at the game so dont know about the others watching them on 360 tonight as i just got home from florida.

Show some class? Are you effing kidding me? You make a wrestling reference and then talk about class? Because obviously, wrestling is where the phrase "suck it" originated. Or maybe you think it's where the phrase originated because that's the first context you saw it in.

Seriously, do you even watch football? You are talking about having "class" with regards to my phrasing about a football game. Does the irony of this not strike you? Apparently you were at the game, yet you heard nothing worse than "suck it". Are we talking about the same game here? I guess you went to the G-rated game where they don't curse or make catcalls or make insulting hand gestures.

 

Do yourself a favor and don't preach to me *ever* about 'showing class'.

 

 

On a more on topic note - BCS Bowl Games were announced. I'm decidedly meh about Tech playing Iowa. I think Texas was another "eh" call for the BCS Championship Game, especially after their mediocre performance in the Big 12 Championship. Bama will likely run them over.

On a brighter note! The Million Dollar Band is gonna inflict their presence on The Rose Bowl and So Cal! Poor buggers  ;D

Ya'll saw Bama take apart the much vaunted and bally-hooed Gator football team Saturday. Bama won in the trenches, on defense, special teams AND offense. Bama was 6 yards short of putting up 500 yards on the nation's number one team! Bama's defense SHUT OUT the Gators in the second half, something that's not been done to The University of Florida for I don't know how long.

 

They've whupped up on every team they've come up against this season and what they mostly got was "fluke" from the fans of other SEC teams. Guess they can play a little "ball" can't they?

 

Can they win the National Championship Game, played in The Rose Bowl Jan. 7? Well, they'd better strap their hats on tight if they're gonna beat Colt and the lad's from College Station. Texan's think they can play some football too ;)

 

 

As for the other BCS Games?

Oregon's liable to trounce OSU in the Rose Bowl

Florida's gonna beat Cincy like a drum in the Sugar Bowl

Them Horned Frogs might give them Blue Tater Feller's some warts down there in Phoenix at the Fiesta

And The Ramblin' Wreck better have their insurance paid up when they meet The Hawkeye's down yonder in MyHammy at Horn's favorite bowl.. Th' Ornge' :D

I was hoping TCU or Boise would play Florida or something not each other. I think they played each other last year in the Poinsettia bowl.

lol thats all i'm sayin manny it was a close game she wants to start slingin stuff like suck it around and i can point out a blatant facemask in the endzone by GT that wasnt called on jacoby ford that cost us the game and yes i was at the game zash. so frankly yes it was a good game GT happened to be up front when the clock ran out but it could have easily gone either way

lol roll tide. sorry cant stand tebow hopin for a texas tide national championship and a texas win. and fyi the triple option is a high school offense that weak teams play to compensate. fortunately for GT defenses are still suprised to see it on this level and havent adjusted yet.

 

 

The triple option is a legitimate offense at any level it just has one sometimes fatal flaw. What happens if you fall behind early such as in last year's Chick-Filet Peach Bowl when LSU shut down GA Tech? (Note how I worked this LSU reference in, I'm slick like that.) If you're down 2 touchdowns you can continue to run the option but any more than that and you have to scrap your entire offense. Its never really been run in the NFL but I think that has more to do with the injury factor. A 31 year old QB is not only more prone to injury than a 21 year old but also takes much longer to recover. As long as you don't fall behind early the triple-O is rightly feared.
