Hi there evil types!

 

I have a few queries - I have a character that has a big glaring hole in their history, quite deliberately. What exactly happened in there is very much secret squirrel, you see. What I've been contemplating is whether in that gap said character became a darkfriend, or was perhaps blackmailed into working for one (knowingly or unknowingly).

 

Sounds a bit confusing I'm sure. This is an existing character in a division. What I really want to know is if it is possible for the character to be a darkfriend undercover in a division (ie not a freelander), or if there are any darkfriends/dreadlords who would like to help me fill in the gap in the history by being the one to blackmail/order the character. I figure either way they would have to answer to someone.

 

Is any of this possible? I'm open to either idea, really. And I know it's a bit vague without knowing the character and seeing the bio, but for now I want the identity to be secret, because I don't want anyone IC to have any idea about the character, and just as few OOC until I sort out the details.

Sure, it could be possible... Manipulation and blackmail are the name of the game 'round here :P

 

Darkfriends aren't a problem to NPC, if your char is a channeler it'd need to be a Dreadlord though, which would require at least a little bit of info to go by. Forsaken are a flat out no because there's no reason for them to bother with you, considering they even call full Aes Sedai 'half-trained children' and treat everyone and everything else as their personal playthings.

 

So yeah, that's my two cents. It all depends on the amount of interaction, really. I have a Dreadlady myself, but she wouldn't take unnecessary chances in keeping her DL identity a secret to Lightside forces.

nope there is also black ajah as an alternative to dreadlords

 

otherwise you can be a darkfriend in any division really, its just a question of what is more natural placement division wise for the char, pending on the main playing pov

 

its not posible to go black and go back though...so turn over and its a permanent fix in the char story...but you're more then welcome of course
