Hey everyone,

 

I've been coming here for about a month now, lurking around the forums and whatnot, and finally decided to put a post up here on the newbie forum.

 

I'm currently working on my 2nd readthrough of the series (about 1/2 way through tSR atm) and I'm noticing a ton of stuff this time around that I didn't before.

 

This looks like a really fun and informative community to join so I look forward to becoming more active on the forums (possibly even joining an Org ;) ) as I progress through the later books and have questions/ideas.

I have re-read the series once, and as soon as possible, I'd like to do it again!  It's neat how you get something new every time you read the books. :)

 

 

Dragonmount is very fun, and there is something for everyone, so yeah, feel free to participate in Org activities until you find one or more that you'd like to join!  There's a variety of people that you will be able to meet and get to know in all the Orgs, so don't be shy.

 

Of course, you probably know a lot of this already....  :D

 

Just remember, the prime objective in most of the Orgs is to have fun.

I did the same thing, checked it out for a month or two just browsing, then I just registered 2-3 days ago :p so yea PM me if you ever want to talk about the series, I'm on the 9th book now :)

I got to KoD in my second read through, then I found something wonderful - other books.  That's what I've been doing, waiting for MoL. 

 

I know, I'm a deserter! :'(

 

Poke around, maybe pop into Fiddlesticks sometimes (we need the activity!) and just have loads of fun.  Because if you don't...well...what's the point?

Thanks for the warm welcome all. ;D I shall definitely take some more time to check everything out and get to know the site better. Also, I plan to read all the way through the series again because I haven't read it in a few years, but once I'm done I already have other books in store.

Any particular reason why you picked "xenos" as your username? Just curious, as my Ancient Greek knowledge picked it up - and for those that don't know, "xenos" means stranger or friend, as well as guest (and a few other things).

 

My geek-side aside, I hope you are enjoying DM. Found anything that tickles your fancy?? Any ORGs??

Actually, the Greek meaning is the reason I picked "xenos". I was fascinated by it back in high school and it just kinda stuck.

 

As for ORGs, I'm still lookin around and I am very much enjoying DM. ;D
