Hey guys, I just thought I would take the time to introduce myself and see if I can get to know some of you.

 

My screen name is BladeMaster77 as you can see but my first name is Zack so feel free to call me by either. I enjoy reading fantasy books and at the top of my list of favorites is WOT,LOTR, The Obsidian Trilogy, Dragon Lance, Drizzt novels, Inheritance cycle, and many more. I am currently a sophmore in college and wanting to become a youth minister and auther of fantasy works as well. 

 

So thats enough about me tell me about you guys.

Hi Zack!  Welcome to DM!  We've got a lot of organizations and groups here for you to peruse, so I am sure you will find something that strikes your fancy!  Since you enjoy writing, you should head over to the Illuminators Org, they are about to start an open short story contest!  Also check out our RP side (aka Divisions), where you can create a biography for your own WoT inspired character and write roleplays with other members as your new alter ego!  I have been around the site since 2001, and I am active in the Seanchan Org, White Tower Org, and I have 2 characters in the White Tower RP Division.  Hope to see you soon!

I havnt read some of those series (Though Dragonlance I can claim to of read) though I am sure I will get around to looking up those sometime in the future (Is a large Sci-fi/Fantisy reader/amiture writer). I would sugest looking at the Book Discusion forums for the WoT related book conversation, and I am sure you can start/find a good discusion on the General Forums for the other series. But, there is more then those two forums (As I am sure you have already seen) I would check out one of the Orgs (Haven't been in all of them, though you can be, so I dont know what all of them are about) and I am sure you will find alot of people willing to talk about everything from hikeing (Wolfkin Org) Music (BoTRH org) Writeing/all arts (Illuminators Org) and much much more.

 

And just so the RPers dont get on my case (Since I am one of them they know were to find me  :P) I will also sugest (If you are into the Roleplaying stuff) to check out the Div at the bottom of the boards, why just read fantisy when you can live it throuhg a charicter of your own?

Thanks Raena and Corki now I have 2 new ones to add to the list (no I didn't know what it was in Latin). My Thanks to the rest of you. I am in the middle of my spring semester at College right now and in some of my spare time I am taking a look at all the orgs so you will be seeing me in them soon I hope. Winterwinds if you want any information on those other books that I mentioned then let me know and I will give you a plot overview of them and tell you what I can about locating them.

 

And have no doubt you will be seeing me in any and probably all the role play sections.

Good Mornin Blade, if you're looking to add a few other greetings, I personally have some that make people scratch their heads in confusion.

I like to say cheers, which is good for getting confused stares as to why exactly I'm choosing to say cheers, since nobody else in the world uses it as a greeting.

Another favourite is Wasabi, which confuses people as to when exactly we started talking about food, especially since we hadn't been talking previously.
