Lor, Kyn, Perivar and Kabria are already in Fal Dara, the rest of the party is entering the city. Whomever wishes to come along is welcome, assuming they have permission to do so.. there should be a small party of NPC Tower Guards along as well.

How many NPC Tower Guards should we have?  Just so I know what I am working with?  Perhaps a banner?  A banner would = 100.  Is that good or would you like more or less.  Either way I was figuring on half pikemen and the other half archers.  I figured having them on foot would be more interesting though we could do mounted.  It's your call.

Originally Selene and Jerinia were going to go along with the group because we both need our trip out of the city with an Aes Sedai.  The req for TGs just says a trip with two members of the WT, it doesn't differentiate rank, and as long as the Accepted are with an Aes Sedai, they are allowed to go pretty much wherever.  I'd said in the original posts about the trip that I couldn't do this until I got back, but I guess it got lost.

 

Jehaine and I will have to figure out something else for our accepted, then.  I'd also wanted to use this for Selene's WS increase, but she has to do the first two WS's, so it'll be a week or so before I'm ready for the trip anyway.

It just, I mean just started.  I am sure we could whip together a TTPC Aes Sedai to travel with the group so Selene and Jerinia could come along. 

 

I wouldn't worry about your WS 1 and 2 Reqs, we can whip those out in a hearbeat.  Would rather have you along than not.

Considering there are a bunch of Tower Guards there, i'm sure they'd be sending a couple of Aes Sedai and Warders as well.

 

Though the Warders would act more like the field commanders for the TG, it would make sense for AS to go as well as there is channeling involved, and who would be more fit to handle it but AS themselves? Especially since (according to what i've read) both girls have quite a bit of skill already.

 

And yeah, Selene and Jerinia could be errand girls to the AS or something. I'm sure the other AS will be glad to see Jerinia spent a week or two away from them the Tower... ;D

I was under the impression that there would be at least one other Aes Sedai along, if not the definitely TPC one up and use her till they get to Fal Dara and you have Lor and Kabria to chaperone your accepteds... as for WS increases, they don't have to be in any particular order and you can also just save this and post it up after the others are done and count it then.

We're talking Rasheta into joining us, and then she can escort a brand new novice home on her own, since that player doesn't want to join so extensive a party as ours.  Just waiting on Elgee's okay for my Accepted's involvement and then I can put up the post I've already written for it.

Yes that was what I was hinting at.  Use your special Aes Sedai network to send word to Tar Valon so they can send the escort to Fal Dara.  While we wait for them we can party....Wayne's World style....Party Time, Excellent!

Alright, so ya'll are there... are we planning on going back with Rasheta and the kids? Or are we going on our own field trip from there?

I believe that Rasheta is going to discover Christine's character in Fal Dara and is going to escort her back to the Tower separate from our group.  Christine did not want to be part of a huge thread. 

 

So if I am correct we will take Selene, Jerinia, Melenis, and the contingent of Tower Guards.  If Rasheta decides that she wants to keep some of the Tower Guards since she has no Warder then we will just shave some from our group.  Since Kyn said 10-20, I am thinking we can give Rasheta five (including the Bannerman which will give Perivar a reason for being in charge of them) and keep 15 for us not including Melenis.  Perivar will take the 15 NPC Tower Guards.  It would be odd for Perivar to be in charge of Melenis so she would serve under Kynwric.  Perhaps she will be tasked with keeping the two Accepted alive and well(something she has experience with)?  It would make sense that Kyn would trust her with such an assignment.  ;)

 

Now I am not sure how we are to explain splitting the group as it would seem likely that Rasheta and Christine's character would travel with us since there is safety in numbers.  Maybe Rasheta has other business in Shienar or it may be that while in Fal Dara she hears rumors of a girl who can channel or learn to channel (Christine's char) and stays to investigate?

Jehaine, I was using this for Perivar's leadership Req but I knew you were coming along so I spoke to Kyn about having Melenis under him.  I was just going to handle the NPC's not any PC's.  If you want to use this as a leadership Req as well I am sure we can work something out as long as Kynwric agrees. 

 

There are two possibilities that I foresee:

 

1) Melenis and say 4 or 5 Guards serve under Kyn with Melenis being in charge of that group.

 

2) Melenis falls under Perivar's command and acts as second in command of all the Tower Guards.  We can have the Bannerman fall ill or get hurt using Melenis take his place.  She is already taking some responsibility and Perivar would completely trust her with the task.  As long as you don't mind Melenis being under Perivar's command for this trip.  As I said earlier I did not plan on it since Melenis is a PC but if you are comfortable with this then I am as well.

 

Whatever way you decide we just have to get Kyn's blessing OOC'ly.

I don't mind either way, Melenis knows better than to disrespect the chain of command. With her being ranked Defender, my last post already had her be in command of at least some of the 'mere' Tower Guards, but with the added note that the Warders still outranked her, of course.

I'd rather you choose.  Either way it will be suitable for the Leadership Req.  It's your call, whatever you prefer.

Like you said, either way is suitable for the Leadership Req. Kynwric could supervise the both of us and give us pointers on how to lead a group of people properly too, and we'd only have one group of NPCs to keep under control ^^

If you don't mind, have Kyn tell Perivar to pound salt and that Melenis is staying with the TG's under him.  Tell him he will have to suck it up and deal with it, it is part of leadership yada yada yada.

 

Then I will write the injury or illness of the current Bannerman and put Melenis in the Bannerman's place.  Everyone is happy and gets a Req. Yay!

Wait!!!!  You wrote Perivar out of the picture.  :'(  I was going to use this for his leadership Req.  Well actually it is not a big deal I'll figure out another RP idea for his Leadership Req.  He'll be happy for now at least since he wants nothing to do with leadership.  He just wants to be Kabria's Warder.
