I'm not sure who to be suspicious of. Thorum seems to be getting everyone's attention, but I don't know what to think. That partial quote might have a perfectly reasonable explanation, though he hasn't bothered to give one, even though it might have taken suspicion off of him if he had a reason for leaving out the actual vote. So, Thorum, if you would care to enlighten us about it, go ahead.

If Blig was innocent to begin with, how likely is it that he has changed sides? I don't put it past DSage, since he's shown us by bringing Blig back from the dead that not much is beyond him in this game. So...do we let him stick around, or does he need killing again? Hmm....

 

Personally, I'm not entirely suspicious of him right now, though coming back from the dead is certainly odd. I agree with the watching, but who don't we need to watch lol? But, I'm not up for lynching him (again) quite yet. =)

 

Though there is this:

It could be something other than DSage bringing him back? I wonder if the doctor role had the ability to bring one person back from death? Or if Blig's role allowed him to come back? Or is he just trying to make us think something complicated is going on...?

It's true. If his information is really valuable, can we not try to protect him from being night killed? I'd really like to hear what he has to say, but if he's dead before he can say it...

Could you enlighten what you mean here? I'm quite sure I would have chosen someone else to revive if I were evil. I've chosen an active innocent, which is the main characteristic I'm looking for in a helpful player.

I'm curious about this whole resurrection thing. I'm not doubting the role, but I'm leery about how he came back; as in evil or innocent. It seems awful easy to gain an innocent, with no catch. I guess the Finder has their work cut out for them.  :-\

The night has come and everyone leaves for home.  Sven, however, deciedes to go climb the Lynching Tree.  Some of you stay back and watch.

 

"What are you doing?" Hybrid asks.

 

"I'm trying to find the lamb."  Sven answers.

 

"But we don't have sheep in Balding.  The town of Tareel has the sheep." Dark Justice says.

 

"Duh!  We don't have sheep.  I said lamb.  Lamb is different from sheep."  You all look at each other in worry.

 

"Get down from there!" Far Dareis Mai yells.  But it is too late.  A branch snaps and Sven falls to the earth.  You run to him but find him gazing at the stars through the glaze of death.

 

Sven has been Modkilled due to inactivity.

 

A coroner will not be given in the event of a Modkill!

Sorry for the delay.  I was held up by RL, then my computer spazzed for a bit.

 

And now, without further ado...

 

CHAPTER  4

Looking at the Pros and Cons

 

The night was like any other night; cold and silent.  Shadows played on the ground, giving cover for those who did not wish to be seen.  This was a night for blood.  A figure stepped into the moonlight, their cloak held tight against them, shutting out the nip in the air; keeping their face in shadow.

 

The house was up ahead.  The figure quickened his step.  The door was unlocked.

 

"Ah, so nice of you to join me." the resident said, profering a wineglass filled with crimson liquid.  When the assassin did not move, the man simply shrugged.  "Ah well, not everyone is a fan of this wine.  It's a bit too sweet, some say, but I find it quite enjoyable."  Taking a sip, he exhaled appreciatively.  "Well, come on out of the cold and sit yourself by the fire."

 

"I'm here to kill you." The assassin said coldly.

 

"Yes, but we can leave that for later.  Come on in."

 

The man was so hospitable, he almost didn't want to kill him.  Almost was not enough, however.  With a flick of his wrist the man fell.  The assassin was gone.

 

GoodGrief AKA Mark Twain, a Townie has been Killed.

 

Morning came and so did the Townspeaople - right to the home of Mark Twain (not the author).  A quick check found him innocent.  But another Townie was missing:  Angelo.  What had happened to him?

 

The Townspeople searched and searched, but Angelo was nowhere in sight.  Then they arrived at the abandoned building they had codenamed "Hell House Mark IX".  Angelo was sitting by the door, a broken beer bottle shoved into his heart.  A look around found a note:

 

Only in death does the New Fiddlesburg Mafia rule.  Only in death.  Keep this with you at all times.  Though my brother is dead, he may not be finished.  He was always a tricky one.  But he never knew how to mix trickery with slyness.  Inside this note is a code that you must memorize and then burn.  All messages from now on shall be in that code.  Carry on.

 

A search found nothing of the code.  But still, a grim satisfaction came over the mob.  Another baddie!

 

Luthine AKA Angelo the Shadow, a Mafioso, has been Killed.

With 13 alive, it takes 7 votes to lynch.

 

I'm going to give you a little extra time, due to the lateness of the hour for me.
