In addition, someone (Moiraine?) says that dreamwalkers or dreamers have spoken about seeing wolves in the dream and that occasionally the wolves have aided them.  I don't remember when exactly, but I think it's around when Perrin is discovering the wolf dream.

 

It was Moiraine; the scene is Dragon Reborn Chapter 9.

Indeed--RJ directly stated that Dreaming and Dreamwalking were two seperate and distinct Talents... Dreaming being the ability to see the future in dreams, and Dreamwalking being the ability to entery TAR and reach other peoples dreams.

ok luckers if that is that then what is the entering other ppls dreams talent could perrin do that if he wanted to(highly doubt he ever will even if could) since non channeling dream walkers r able to(wise ones) and yes other dream walkers can see wolves since that one insident where egwene walks into a room in dreamland and theres a wolf gaurding perrin and she sees it( in dragon reborn)

 

also im pretty sure wolves come to last battle prob like did at the wells battle especially since that one seanchan mentions the wolf king profecy( we can only assume all profecies stated r absolutely going to happen, if hard to interperit as the dragon profecies usualy are)

We know there have been additions made to the Seanchan Prophecies, and they won't happen. But the Wolf King is a real part of the Prophecies, and so will happen

Mat's the trickster/funcharacter/wild one/uncouth one? Quite a lot on his plate then. Neither Lan nor Rand is brilliant at being unfeeling. They let their emotions get in the way. And I'm a far better badass than either of them.

rand is so too unfeeling( untill cadsuanna(sp?) teaches him to cry) he got his blody hand or arm or w/e chopped off then kept walking like he was one of those weird unfeeling soldiers in brisngr(3rd eragon book) and i meant lan is better at being a badass true he does feel things (i.e. nynaeve)

I think there's different ways of being in TAR.

- Like Egwene, one who dreams herself to TAR, the technique she learned from the Aiel.They simply look like they are sleeping, though very deeply.

- Like Siuan, Leane and other AS who use the dreaming ring. The ones using copies of the original ring being a bit more 'faded' because it's not perfect. Look like they are sleeping.

- Like Perrin and the wolves, to me it seems that their soul actually goes to TAR as mentioned when they were unable to wake Perrin when he was in the Wolf Dream.

- Like Birgitte and other important persona's, my guess is that their souls reside in TAR while they are without a body. So they actually do not exist outside TAR.

- When Egwene was summoned by the AS, didn't she step into TAR 'in the flesh' as well? Her whole body in TAR while travelling.

 

So I think there are different gradations when entering TAR.

Hopper is aware of this and can easily distinguish between them, though he can't fully explain it to Perrin.

If I remember correctly, the Wise did do some explaining about this to Egwene but I'm not sure.
