Who will survive A Memory of Light and who will not?

"I have a million ideas, but, they all point to certain death."  Marvin, 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'

I guess your list is right, apart from Thom - didn't Moiraine say she knew who her husband would be? I doubt that they'd decide to marry asap when they're out of the Tower of Ghenjei (or it - the marriage - could be one of the horrid conditions for Thom to get out :))

But personally, I'd prefer if the following were the last phrase in the series:

"I WIN AGAIN, LEWS THERIN!"

Rand (dies): It is the most logical end, but I feel he will become the new LTT in the next age, though I do like the mad beggar theory.

Just out of curiosity what are you refering to when you say "The mad begger theory?"

I think it refers to one of Min's viewings (though I'm not sure where the 'mad' part comes from): "A sword that isn't a sword, a golden crown of laurel leaves, a beggar's staff, you pouring water on sand, a bloody hand and a white-hot iron, three women standing over a funeral bier with you on it, black rock wet with blood"

I can't remember the thread, but Luckers (I think) has a really detailed pre-synopsis of AMoL, based on foretellings, prophecies, Dreams, and logic. Does anyone remember where that was?  Like Luckers, maybe.

This is probably nothing to do with it, but in Ebou Dar there was a beggar / darkfriend mastermind ringleader known as 'Old Cully' who had a beggar as his persona. Didnt he have a staff?

He did, but of the other sort - a staff of DF's, since he's a ring leader. :) No schtick, only stink - "a gnarled beggar with one eye, no teeth and a habit of bathing only once in the year"
