The curtain draws, and a spotlight hits center stage, where a single person sniffling sits in what is an otherwise black background. He sings a slow, quiet song...

 

Oh Woe is me,

For I was not a nominee,

Never mind that I don't RP,

He then stands out and throws his arms wide, and the music picks up, everyone is drawn in by this sudden and breathtaking move.

 

But as you can See!

This is reality,

where people don't realize that I'm amaaaaaaaaaaaaziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.....

 

When suddenly, the lights go out, you hear a scuffle up on stage, and when the lights come back on, the Almighty Barmacral stands a bit subdued...

 

Well, so much for that song, too bad really, I was just getting to the good part too. The part that makes me look awesome. Though I suppose it doesn't suit this award so well.

Aramina - Her only friend and Promised one died and she locked herself up emotionally for centuries. Her world view is shaken by a Forsaken and she is collared with an a'dam briefly. Her guiding light vanishes without trace and when she finally opens up her heart for love, he dumps her cruelly.

Aran - His first real love left him and he never got to be a father to his child. Not only is his almost entire family dead but his foster brother tries to kill him painfully. He breaks up with his second love and resorts to drinking.

Estel - Her beloved died and she found herself with a child that she gave away. The child was resentful and died badly. She joined a secret Order and for decades she was told that she was useless and degraded. As a result she has bad issues with trusting people. Recently she got Bonded by an Asha'man who then died on her which didn't do much good for her mental health.

Isha - He feels like he has betrayed his father and caused his death. After getting tortured, his face is scarred enough to scare small children and he has lost one hand. And now he is also going insane from the Taint of Saidin.

Sirayn - She attempted suicide as an Accepted and getting turned down at her Raising lead to deep feelings of inferiority. Her friend killed by Black Ajah in her stead and she got raped and gave birth to twins that she gave away. Her warder burned himself alive and another Warder that she loved spurned her and the Bond broke mysteriously. Her son turned out to be a male channeler and after she got him Gentled in secret, he raped her and cut off her hand. She has bad issues with getting touched and trusting people.

So it's the weekend and Empy is feeling a little uninspired.  Actually I am feeling hungover and tired as I didn't go home to 8am this morning (story coming to SC private later).  But I do want to ensure the winner gets announced so please excused that I do not inject my usual wit and... whatever else you call what I do.
