Just a question about...linking?...

We have established new rules for linking. They are as follows:

Only 2nd through 4th levelers may create links. That is, faction leaders, chosen and lightfools exempt.

Two members cannot link within a faction. i.e.: A BA cannot link with another BA.

Points are distrubuted as follows:

Any member of a link earns only 50% of his or her own points. The link partner earns 200% of the points. For example:

Member A earns 100 points. Member A is awarded only 50 points, but Member B, the partner, gets 200.

Links are consentual. Both partners must agree to forming it, and either member can dissolve it at any time.

If either partner is promoted/demoted to the 1st or 5th level (or higher), or becomes inactive, the link is dissolved.

Basically, if both partners keep within 25% of each other's earnings, they both gain in the end.

Also, as before, anyone above the rank of lightfool may claim one of our tiny first-levelers for the "cookpot." Granted, only Trollocs actually have a real cookpot, but that's beside the point.

The rules:

Any member 2nd level and above may claim a lightfool.

The claimer is then designated "Chef" if he/she is a SS, "Master" if he/she is a Dreadie, or "Mistress/Mister" if he/she is a BA.

Likewise, the claimee is designated "Food," "Apprentice," or "Slave," respective of above.

The lightfool DOES NOT lose any points in this arrangement. All points earned will be duly awarded.

The chef/master/mistress/mister is also awarded all points the food/apprentice/slave earns.

The arrangement is dissolved if one member becomes inactive or they get promoted/demoted out of the proper ranks.

To put it simply, claim a lightfool. It's a win/win situation.

Make all of your links and claims right here.

Do not advertise for links here, do that in other threads/PMs

Basically, you find someone who isn't in your faction, but is about as active as you are and you agree to a link. Then the method of points you earn changes to the formula above.

Does that help?
