Description: Karigan is a small (5’3), slightly plump (121 Pounds) girl. She had dark brown hair and green eyes.

 

Birth Place: Talon Reeds, north Andor.

Age: 18

 

Character History: Karigan is the 4th child in a family of 9. Always curious Karigan frequently found herself in hot water; while this faded when she got older it never quite went away. Unlike another tendency of Karigan’s is to constantly argue with anybody that would let her. Very intelligent, if sometimes lazy, and book smart as well as slightly clumsy, Karigan was not well liked as a child, and due to incident in her childhood has a slight paranoia regarding her peers. Due to the family pressures Karigan is looking for something that will take the burden off of her parents.

 

 

~Karigan plans to RP being encountered by an Aes Sedai in her workplace and then heading to the tower, hence no mention of it in her bio. :) Thanks!

Again, my nagging bio-checking ways have compelled me to point out the flaws of this bio.

 

Firstly, there's no detail of her childhood whatsoever. None. 'An incident' just isn't what makes for a good character. We don't know what the incident was, how it happened, or anything like that.

 

It'd be much nicer to see actual detail on what happened, rather than a vague overview.

Character History: Karigan is the 4th child in a family of 9. Her mother (Vicola Mere) was a large figure in village life, if you wanted something done you went to her. Her father (Arik Mere) is a farmer growing corn and wheat. Always curious Karigan frequently found herself in hot water; while this faded when she got older it never quite went away. Unlike another tendency of Karigan’s is to constantly argue with anybody that would let her. Very intelligent, if sometimes lazy, and book smart as well as slightly clumsy, Karigan was not well liked as a child, and due to a near drowning incident ( she was thrown into the local river by some local older kids) in her childhood has a slight paranoia regarding her peers.

 

Due to the family pressures, mainly having to feed and care for 9 children as well as each other, Karigan is looking for something that will take the burden off of her parents. She has recently been looking into apprenticing herself to some merchants or craftsmen in Caemlyn, though it’s not her first choice. Karigan’s dream is to own and run an inn of her own one day. Two of her three sister’s and three of her five brother’s are already married, despite the fact that two of them are younger than her. Her other sibling are already apprenticed off and learning their trade, or are singling out future spouses. As the result Karigan is sometimes looked at as the family slacker. Recently Karigan took a trip into Caemlyn to see what she could find in the capital. There Karigan meet an Aes Sedai, by answering her questions.
