HS: Competition Winners - August 2007

Hello players, supporters, families and friends!

 

August brought us 6 extremely brave and fierce individuals beating all the odds and gave all others a clear view of their backside.

 

First a reminder to the winners:

 

you can exchange your winnings according to the following formula:

 

1 ORG point = 3 Game Points = 5 Lottery Chips

 

The exchange can be done in either direction.

the JoTS Competition has been finished and the winner will be announced in the next Edition of the Hornsounder which will be published soon. 

 

Our MG, Corki, introduced a new competition this month named the Great Hunt in which the Hunters were given a few clues with which they were to find the person and object that  those clues belonged to.

 

4 adventurous Banders took up the challenge our MG put before us and came home victors under much cheering and brew drinking.

 

Dragonlover made a valiant effort and brought home half the requested result. She was snuggled, huggered, filled with brew and stuffed with cakes and pies. Let's face it, Banders will find ways and reasons to celebrate in any event. So, eventhough our beloved DL didn't quite get the prize, she was basking every bit as much as those that did by the time we Banders were done with her.

 

Great job, DL!!

 

Taymist, Bridmorgan and DJ being the ones that brought home the full answers to the quest stood on the dias basking in the admiration and congratulations of their fellow Banders all evening and were the center of the celebrations to long in the night!

The Sudoku Challenge is slowely but surely working it's magic in drawing in new followers and DJ was up against two superplayers. Walking away with the grand prize of Sudoku this month are the ladies of the numbers, Sisters in Arms and comerades of mischief!

 

TAYMIST! and Bridmorgan! swoop away that prize from under DJ's dumbfounded nose this month with a undisputed 100% each!

Next, we have the Scavenger Hunt Competition:

 

4 players took on the challenge and faced the Age of Legends, with their Aes Sedai from nightmares and wonders beyond belief. 

 

Striding in, looking down their noses at the easy questions and offhandedly throwing all of the answers in my general direction with an air of 'Je ne sais quoi', these hard core players were out the door with their prize under their arm before I knew what hit me.
