“My Captain, I am sorry for not coming to you first and fore most. I know my trip into Tar Valon looks strange but I have very little clothes. I went for enough time to have my self fitted for new dresses. As to why I have locked myself up in my quarters…I have had no desire yet to see anyone, though that does not excuse my rudeness towards you…I should have at least sent you a note to explain myself. I did intend to see you in the morning as I have much to tell you.” Jaydena arched her eyebrow part way through the speak and let the woman continue. It was strange that the woman felt strong enough emotionally to go clothes shopping and deal with the huge amount of people that filled the street of Tar Valon. Yet she couldn't deal with her own ajah head and instead had caused problems by not showing up as she should have. When Phinn finished as though waiting for permission to report what has happened she nodded her head and motioned for the sister to continue.

Jaydena listened with interest as Phinn began to describe to her what has happened and she was shocked that so much has happened to this woman in the years she had been gone. Of course she had seen it before, women eager to prove themselves as Greens, left the Tower. Ended up fighting for years, losing their gaidin in many cases, and even dying. Some were injured horribly without the healing benefit of another sister and bore those scars for the rest of their lives. The story didn't totally make sense to her but then a Sister couldn't lie so she had no choice but to believe her and take her word, knowing that Aes Sedai could twist words and meanings like a spinning top if they wanted to. “I hope you can forgive me and understand my strangeness. I hope to recover in due time.” She nodded and spoke, "Well it seems a strange story and it sounds like you have experienced alot in your years, I do know that sadly we will have to set up a penance for the things that have happened. As much as a hate to do it, it will be expected and I can't show special treatment to anyone but because you have been through so much I will allow you to choose your punishment." She folded her hands in her lap and waited for Phinn to speak...

The Captain General was going to let her choose her punishment? Phinn almost smiled but did not. It would have shown cheekiness and disrespect. What should she choose??

Phinn looked into the woman’s eyes. This one would be an annoyance and a threat to her plans. She took a sip of her tea and spoke.

“I think that you are being fair and I understand. For a penance I could clean for the sisters and do errands or time at the farm…though I have just arrived here.”

Watching for a reaction Phinn poured herself more tea. As Jaydena was going to speak a knock at the door interrupted them.

“I am sorry Captain, please forgive the interruption.”

Phinn rose and strode to the door to answer the knock. Opening the door she did not expect what she saw. How many more surprises was she going to get tonight?

Cara took her leave from the Amyrlin’s office and accompanied by Liitha made her way to the Green Ajah’s Quarters. The corridors of the Tower were teeming with Novices running errands or making their way to classes or doing chores something Cara was more than pleased to have left behind her all those years ago. As they walked Cara and Liitha made small talk, discussing what had been said in the Amyrlin’s Office. It was the first time Cara had spoken to her on a matter of such weight and despite her misgivings about the sanity of the Amyrlin, she had not dismissed their concerns as fantasies which helped Cara a lot.

When they arrived at the Green Ajah’s Quarters they had to wait a moment before a Green Sister appeared and ushered them into the Quarters and escorted them to Phinn’s rooms. Cara thanked the Sister for her diligence and once Phinn had responded to the knock at her door, the Green Sister left them to it.

“We have been asked by the Amrylin to remind you that all returning Sisters need to visit her as soon as possible. If you are ready we can accompany you to her rooms now?”

IC:  “We have been asked by the Amyrlin to remind you that all returning Sisters need to visit her as soon as possible. If you are ready we can accompany you to her rooms now?”

Looking at her state of dress, Phinn was most defiantly not ready to see the Amyrlin.

“Please come in sister…I must put on proper dress.”

Phinn pointed to a couple of polished wood chairs with green cushions embroidered with gold flowers.

“make yourself comfortable, I will be back in a minute.”

With a quick look at Jaydena, She left the room to go into her bedroom. Silently closing the door she let out a breath that she had been holding since Jaydena showed up. Leaning against the door she took a moment to calm herself. Phinn wondered if the Amyrlin received the letter…this thought perked her up and she stepped to her dresser. Putting on a long flowing green dress. Running a brush through her hair…she exited her room.

With a smile, She addressed Jaydena.

“Sister, I will answer your question in full later. I apologize for having to leave with out finishing our discussion.”

Turning to Cara she spoke..

“I am ready.”

A few minutes later found them with the Door to the Amyrlin’s office in front of them. Phinn stepped to the side to let Cara enter first. They were greeted by the Keeper and ushered into the Amyrlin’s presence.

Phinn curtsied and kissed the Woman’s ring. She then stood straight and waited for what the Amyrlin had to say.

Jaydena saw the woman looking at her and considering, she was fairly good at judging what people were thinking or feeling but she wasn't catching anything with this one. Either the woman had retained her training and gotten better with hiding things while she was gone or she has something major to hide. “I think that you are being fair and I understand. For a penance I could clean for the sisters and do errands or time at the farm…though I have just arrived here.” . Jaydena nodded, that would be a good option, the sister would like that one and Phinn would hopefully learn her lesson and not do it again Just as she was about to speak there was a knock at Phinn's door, Jade started and wondered what one of her Greens interuppted the ajah head. Phinn glanced over at her and spoke quickly, “I am sorry Captain, please forgive the interruption.” Jade nodded and motioned for her to answer the door. The woman strode to the door opened it to show a Green with a member of another ajah. Jaydena arched her eyebrow and waited for Cara Sedai to speak. “We have been asked by the Amyrlin to remind you that all returning Sisters need to visit her as soon as possible. If you are ready we can accompany you to her rooms now?” Phinn invited the other woman in so she could get ready and then turned and walked to her room to change.

Jaydena eyed Cara Sedai and sipped her tea, offering her some while they sat in silence. Before long Phinn came back out and spoke to her, “Sister, I will answer your question in full later. I apologize for having to leave with out finishing our discussion.” Jade nodded and then spoke, "I will see you later then my sister." She nodded at Cara and then walked from the room, headed to her office to record this event in her journal, there was something very strange about all of this but she couldn't put her finger on it. Of course she would look at all the angles and her training with the Great Game might just do her justice. She was surprised that the Amyrlin has wanted to see Phinn that quickly and hoped everything was fine with her Green.
