Hi I'm Seriodor, ummm I'm not exatcly sure how an introduction post is supposed be written., so im just going to say that, WoT was introduced me to High Fantasy. I just finished my 1st reread. And ummm, thats about it. Peace Out.

This is certainly the place to come for WoT fans. The people here are some of the best in the WoT community in my opinion. Even when we're arguing to the death in the discussion boards people are still good at remembering that in the end we're all the same, lovers of these awesome books. Beware though, many of us have read through the series so many times we've lost count, so we're bound know way too much about the books for our own good. :P We love to answer questions though, so have at it. :)

 

If you're at all interested in role-playing, there's a thriving RP community here as well.  For roleplaying, I'd suggest starting off by reading this post: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,354.0.html  That covers the basics and will give you an idea of where to begin.

 

Next you'll want to get an idea of the kind of character you'll want to play. Just about every group of people on Randland are represented in some way. When you have an idea of the kind of character you'll want to play, you'll need to come up with a character bio and have it approved for play. After that, just find your way to the Div boards for your chosen Division and begin to join in on the fun as you await for your bio to be approved and to be assigned a mentor

 

But no matter what you decide to do with your time here at DM, I hope you enjoy yourself. And once again, welcome aboard. :)

Just check out the orgs maybe your interested in the discussion boards or Role Playing too. The White Tower is a great org to join. Be sure to check out the Warder Guild and the Red sisters who are pretty cool. You should also check out the Aiel, they are a cool fun loving group so drop by. :D

Cheers, everyone does their intro post differently, mine was very long, as I chose to tell a story which explained my name, then asked some questions that I was interested in, whereas some people have a single line post just basically saying "Hi! I'm here!"

It's really up to you in the long run, there is no wrong way of doing it, provided it stay's friendly and PG-13
