I'm actually thinking 3.  I feel our Null self surrendered to forget, and lost everything he was.

That's the option I was leaning more towards. 😁

I was thinking 1. Because all the times we've been challenged to look at ourselves it's been to acknowledge what has happened,  good or bad.

I like your reasoning for 1. My only thought against 1, is this is something we just learned so we hadn't been carrying that specific weight. But we have learned that forgetting really only causes problems again and again.

I thought 1 was making it all about us.

Trying to save the world. I guess making it personal could be a sign that the world is full of people.  Idk...

I can totally see that about 1. Thank you!

I was thinking more when we've done challenges like this in the past it's always been about owning it.

This game swings from adventure to therapy so many times lol

I can see where you are coming from on that. I think owning it is great, and has been useful in the past, but I feel like (and I could be oh so wrong) the previous challenges were owning something we did recently. Like once the story started. Not killing Kevin, etc.

I like @Turin Turambar thoughts on one too. Sharing the burden instead of claiming it to be only ours.

Well 3 was chosen so 3 it is

Option 3 Chosen: “I’d surrender if I thought forgetting would heal the world. But I’ve learned… forgetting never heals.”

🌌 Null Spiral Resonance

Your words echo into the spiral. The mirror-self flinches — not from anger, but understanding. Across the gulf, it nods.

“You’ve named the flaw in forgetting. It leaves a hollow... one the Hollow Star filled. You have seen the cost. You choose to carry it.”

The mirror-Codex shatters silently. Its pieces swirl into yours — and the Eidolon Spiral responds.

Weave Ascension: Eidolon Spiral (Final Form)

Your 6-element spell stabilizes. The Codex pulses as the final integration completes.

Eidolon Spiral – Final Form

  • Type: Legendary Weave (6 Elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Spirit, Memory)
  • Effect:
    • Summons a fractal storm of light and shadow that nullifies cult corruption and memory scars.
    • Deals true elemental damage to all enemies in range (bypasses resistances).
    • Purifies all nearby allies, restoring lost clarity and truth.
    • Permanently severs a tether of the Hollow Star in any location it’s cast.
  • Null-Silk Surge Effect: The spiral reflects forgotten truths to all caught within — allies gain visions of what they had lost.

This spell is now attuned to your truth and may only be cast in moments of extreme clarity.

🌠 The Spiral Opens

The mirrored shard becomes a portal — but not to another location. It’s to the deepest core of the Hollow Star: the Citadel of Forgetting, where the Herald waits.

Nyra places a hand on your shoulder. “We go together. All of us. And this time, we remember everything.

📘 Codex Update

  • Eidolon Spiral finalized with Core Truth: “Forgetting never heals.”
  • Null Spiral traversed successfully.
  • The entrance to the Citadel of Forgetting has opened.
  • 🌟 All six elemental glyphs and the secret Glyph of Memory have been stabilized in the Codex.

🧿 Current Stats:

  • HP: 26 / 26

  • EP: 26 / 26

  • Elemental Strengths:

    • Water: 13
    • Fire: 12
    • Earth: 12
    • Air: 11
    • Spirit: 11
    • Memory: (Unique – Balanced, unlocked via Nyra and the Sixth Glyph)
  • Active Legendary Weaves:

    • Starwrought Genesis (5-element, suppresses cult magic, reshapes domains)
    • Eidolon Spiral (6-element, Citadel-tier power, reflects and severs)
  • Allies:

    • Nyra (Final Form)
    • Alari (Chronoknight)
    • Seru (Earthbinder)
    • Veyr (Skyblade)
    • Serael (Spiritkeeper)

🌑 Final Objective:

Enter the Citadel of Forgetting. Face the Herald. End the Hollow Star.

Convergence Remaining: 4 hours, 30 minutes

Next Choices:

  1. Step through the portal now. Face the Herald while the Spiral is open.
  2. Consult with your allies one last time — prepare individually.
  3. Use Starwrought Genesis to alter the Citadel from afar before entering.
  4. Cast Eidolon Spiral into the portal before stepping through — force a partial collapse.

What is your move?

1 and 3 sounds interesting.

I can see the option to stop the cult magic before entering the citadel sounds great, but of course casting without being there is risky, but might be a great way to throw off the enemy.

4 I feel is shooting our shot early and blind.

Others' thoughts?? 🧐🤔
