.... is going to come out on the Wii!!!! I can't wait! I refuse to buy a PS3 (to me it is just a ripoff), and I don't want to pay for a 360, and the Wii is awesome and priced well, AND I can still play Guitar Hero!

Is Guitar Hero III not coming out for the PS2 as well?  That would suck big time!  I was gonna go buy it when it came out now I guess I really do have to buy the 360 version  :'(

I'm not sure.. are new PS3 games also coming out for PS2? That is the only way because it will be a game on all 3 newest systems.

PS3 games won't be coming out for the PS2, pretty much. They use far more advanced game engines which the ps2 doesn't have the capabilities to run.. And the fact is the graphics are too secks. :P

 

I'm not sure i like the idea of Guitar Hero III on the Wii. They're probably just gonna map it to the wiimote, which won't be nice. I'd want it to be on an actual guitar, y'know. We can still hope though.

No, it will have its own guitar. A special Les Paul model actually, designed strictly for the Wii.

 

I'm excited because I really want guitar hero, but I don't have room for more systems, but since it is coming to the Wii, I can get the Wii and toss the game cube since cube games and controllers are compatible!

I do like the fact Gamecube games are compatible with the Wii, it makes me for a good laugh on some good ol' Super Smash Bros. :D

 

I don't need a special Les Paul model! I have a real Les Paul, grr. Give me... a.... An Ibanez Iceman! Grr! But that makes me happy, oh so happy. Is there any word on the release date or are we still in the dark on that?

Ooooooooooh!!!  I'm not much of a game player, but I've been Dying to get this game.  Except I only have a regular Xbox.  I don't think I'll be buying a 360, but I've been rather intrigued by the Wii.  If the game's just like the other games with it's own guitar and all, I may just shuck out the $$$ for the Wii.

Guitar Hero 80's edition: I believe it is released on the 27th, though I'm POSITIVE it is being released sometime this month. On the redoctane site, the will ship it on the 27th. http://www.redoctane.com/psghg80.html
