Welcome Banders and Friends!

 

The time has come to announce the Winners of the Horsnounder Competitions from last month's Edition!

 

I was thrilled to see such a promising increase of participants in all the games this month! 9 Participants have been reported to play one or several of the offered games and try their hand at snatching up those prizes! Needless to say, I hope this trend continues and more and more of you will decide to claim some points and/or one (or several) of those marvelous Competition Pins.  :D

 

As those of you who follow these games regularly know, our DJ had been announced Sudoku Master last month due to the lack of anyone challenging him.

 

Well, I'm afraid he's lost that title today! If you wish to find out to whom, keep reading and the names of those brave and victorious souls will be revealed to you!

 

Much time for mourning won't be allowed to him though, as he will be assisting me in the award ceremony in one of his official duties as my brand new Senior Editor! *snuggles DJ*

 

 

Now on to our winners :)

 

First a reminder to the winners:

 

you can exchange your winnings according to the following formula:

 

1 ORG point = 3 Game Points = 5 Lottery Chips

 

The exchange can be done in either direction.

 

Note:

--> if you are happy with the prizes as they are, you don't need to do anything.

--> if you want to exchange them: send me a PM

 

the JotS Competition is currently still being voted on and the winner will be revealed in the Hornsounder Edition which will be published on Saturday.

 

 

Next, we have the Scavenger Hunt Competition:

 

5 players have emerged victors of the Hunt this month. Frankly, I think I made the Hunt a bit too easy this time. For àll winners scored a wopping 20/20 perfect score!

Following we come to the Word Scramble Competition:

 

4 players took up the challenge and faced each other in a contest of wits and insight.

 

Egwene! the one and only non-Bander to find the courage to take up the gauntlet and smack everyone aside to claim her rightfully earned prize with a dashing 13/20 score! Considering the words were all Band-related, this spectacular Lady put down a HELL of a performance, passing with flying colours despite an obvious disadvantage against Banders. Way to go Egwene!!

 

Taymist! StefaniaSedai! (and this one is with some personal private pleasure of mine).... Steel Axe! each claiming an inch on the top stop with a perfect score of 20/20 !!

Last but definately not least we arrive at the Sudoku Competition:

 

I'm guessing that people didn't quite agree with DJ earning the title of Sudoku Master so easily last month and moved to do something about it.
