I'm so torn, the Hannibal of the books is by far the most complex character and scariest individual I've ever read or seen. Verbal Kint, though was such an awesome character too. I gotta go with Verbal cause of the movie quality too, unless you can find Kaiser Soze.

Depends which shredder you're talking about. The one from the newer series or the comics is waaaaaaaaay different from the shredder of the original series.
