No, Sooh was on Scruff with you, and after you jumped she misunderstood, and switched to Scoobs as well, not understanding we wanted the tie.  That's why Bop voted Scruffs to tie it back up.

 

That and the Eldrick vote do hurt her though.

Still on the fence about jumping over to FC. I like the wagon on him though. Maybe favor it slightly over the one on Scruff, though it makes me feel uneasy that Scruff has had a wagon twice and it has dissipated.

 

 

Probably going to head off to bed soon.

 

Don't expect too much from me over the next 24-48 hours. There will be a lot of travelling and stress going on. (I don't even know if we can night chat)

Plus, while we don't have anyone directly defending Scruff, it sort of feels like a derailing attempt, which is why I don't particularly want to comply.

Who said anything about wanting the tie, what are you asking? You said the first tie was to avoid a hammer, it wasn't.  Bop switching back is absolutely the right call to make in that situation.  Even if you weren't on Scoobs before you shouldn't let bottom of the pile players decide votes.  It's just good strategy.

 

I'm pretty sure I've covered ad naseum day 1 and after his flip why Scruff was the best lynch IMO.  If Scoobs had been lynch day 1, Scruffs is probably vigged, possibly not by Eldrick if Cory is to be believed.  So either way it's the same outcome.  I preferred Scruff over Scoobs at that point, and thought either were good.

 

Also Time stamps...pretty much everyone was locked into their votes at that point, the only ones who could have changed were me and Darthe, the first tie accomplished what we wanted it to.

Maybe I misread you but I remember you saying that a tie EoD vote was the best, not lynching one over the other.

I'm not so opposed to Scruff/confident in FC to tell you to keep it here, and I'm obviously not opposed to FC or I would have moved ours.  :P

 

Right now, I don't think my experiment is going anywhere.  You put it where you think is most helpful.

Maybe I got sloppy with the acronym, but I was referring to the decision to tie it up to force Scoobs and Cuth to make a decision.  

 

Again, if you're asking why I wanted a Scruff lynch over a Scoobs lynch, I was about the same on suspicion, but to me if I lynched Scruff and wrong it wasn't as bad as lynching Scoobs and I still stand by my vote there, Even if me being wrong means that I'm perma in POE.

One major JENGA block in my Eldrick mafia vig case is that FC completely gave up any chance of survival after his incredibly narrow d1 coinflip win

 

Hell if it really happened it could've been Scoobs idea anyway, dude was not coming back (Bop made a joke about this during n1 and I felt the same way, lol)

Like I get "mafia should never shoot another mafia for any reason" being a thing and on principle I agree with it one million percent

 

And if that's what happened, I still would argue it would have been much more +EV to take out a villager with it

 

But by n1 FC's life was already totally forfeit and I would not be shocked if mafia made a crazy play to try and get some value out of FC's life

Also, even though Cuth didn't unvote his vote still went through. I'm not here to argue the mods in any form, but we questioned it because he wanted a FC lynch that night.

I wanted to see how several of the quieter/recently joined players would respond. Specifically, I wanted to see how FC would act when he was the counterwagon, wanted to see what cuth would do, and also see how people responded to my request.

 

I specifically chose those two because obviously MrsClov was never going to have scum motivations, and I trusted sooh with enough confidence that I didn't have ro worry about her bailing to save a potential teammate and taking down a townie if it turned out scruff amd dc were town/mafia respectively

This is why I told Sooh to trust that I knew what I was doing. This isn't exactly my first game.
