Mafia choices in this game that have not made a lot of sense to me...

 

N1 Redd Kill

 

List of Redd's reads, complied D2 in notepad doc

He ended day with only townies listed as town, and Tigraine listed among the mafia.  No specific reason why Darthe or Alex would have been worried about him at EOD, or Eldrick.  Looks worse on Tigraine.

 

N2 Dice/Cass instead of Hallia

 

Both Tigs and Eldrick appeared to have difficulty believing Hallia's hint/claim initially, Tigs expressed it a little more strongly in thread with seeming to be unclear on the mechanics of having two town results on D2.

 

This post is the one I assume caused mafia to think there was a chance that Dice/Cass would be the seer:

It's been bugging me since she posted the second peek. As I said before, I'm not comfortable with claiming fake peeks while also trying to solve. The fact that she is means she is probably either the actual seer or she is scum.

 

Either way, lzm is probably town. Unless it's exactly alex/hally/lzm

For N2, it looks to me like Eldrick would have had a stronger motivation to kill Dice/Cass over Hallia because if Dice was the seer, he probably would have viewed Eldrick N2.  Tigraine wouldn't have been as worried about it.

 

N4 LZM kill instead of Spades

 

Ok, so, my reads, in the dumbed down version cuz no computer and stuff.

 

Spades-town, cuz Hallia.

 

Eldrick- town cuz he's trying to solve. Been the most active on casing and damn near led the lynch on Darthe.

 

Tigs- not sure of alignment, she did hammer Darthe, but could have been a distancing tactic as the Darthe train was rolling.

 

Shanti-hate to say it but I think she's town. Only for the reason it's her second game and I can't see her being the last scum. Even though waiting to take out Hallia until N3 would be a newb move.

 

Ok, I could go either way with Shanti.

 

Which leaves Tress and Adella, both skilled players. I think I found whom I'm gonna concentrate on.

 

Looks worse for Tigs here - Eldrick would have had motivation to kill Spades instead, as LZM would have been more likely to vote Tigraine.

 

 

There are more things I want to check, and I really can't be late to work today because yesterday I was working on trying to figure this out until 5 minutes before I needed to leave for work and hadn't showered yet.

In your opinion the NKs as a whole look worse on me, but that's assuming I would blatantly take someone out that had been after me.

I was baffled that spades was alive. She was by far the more involved of the 2.

I think your position is clear

 

Your arguments will of course be why you wouldn't do these things as scum, and Eldrick's would be why he wouldn't.  Makes complete sense.  

 

What I need to do is decide for myself what I think is the most important factor in the decisions that have been made.  I expect my work day will be less than productive, at least until deadline or when I give up overthinking.

That depends largely on your read of the trains in question.

 

If you don't feel strongly about either, or think they are both town (like lzm did) then yes. You vote where you feel the strongest and hope for support.

 

If you feel strongly about one person (like you did on me day 2) you vote them regardless of how active people are.

 

That you voted Darthe over me shows that you wanted to be on the right train.

 

That I voted Darthe less than an hour before deadline shows that I wanted my voice heard after I died. I had no expectation of living day 2. My vote was to show that I thought Darthe was scum. That the cfd happened was an amazing blessing that I had no reason to expect.

Kudos to you though Eldrick. You had me doubting my read on you a couple of times. You've played a heck of a game. You've been on more than one scum list yet have made it to endgame. But now there's no one left to point fingers at. I know my alignment and I know Tress's else game would be over.
