Perhaps  I can read you better by your answers - they at least give me an idea that your style of response is active and direct and ?based more in direct logic and contradiction than feels?...

Asked for several reasons though:

 

1. To get an interaction going;

2. To see if I recognised the forum you might come from (giving me perhaps an idea of what to expect, culture-wise if I've played there, and a means to ISO you there for reference/comparison later);

3. To get a handle on where your interactions with other players on the roster might be influenced from previous games/friendships etc etc and (if you answered on how well you read them/they read you, to look for hedging/possible connections/exclusions/buddying/anything that felt off).

 

Are there many differences in setup/game start etc between the games you've played RL and ones you've read online?

This is my first day on DM. My sister got me here (she even signed me up because I was too drunk yesterday)

for the purpose of joining this specific game. I am quite the newbie but not to be mistaken with a n00b. 

I catch on quick, but hopefully quickly enough for this.
