1.) The PG 13 Commandmants

1. Thou shalt not post anything thou wouldth not want thine 12 year old to seeth

2. Thou shalt not useth foul language (a four letter word starting with f including a * art includedth in “foul language which art not allowed”)

3. Thou mayth be excusedth for “minor cusses”

4. Thou shouldth just useth the curses from the book--just to be safeth

5. Thou shalt not *be nude*th (though occasional *streaking*th art ok)

6. Thou shalt keepth the specifics of thy body and its functions to thyself

7. Thou shalt not postth naughty pictures

8. Though shalt not postth pictures of violence/gore/ect--in special circumstances thou mightth linkth to a picture, but some people canth not handleth seeingth that. Respectth them.

9. Thou shalt not argueth with a staff member if they sayth something art inappropriate

10. Thou shalt treatth someone of higher rank as if they art a staff member in these situations

2.) The Copyright Commandments

1. Thou shalt understandth what copyright law art

2. Thou shalt not claimth someone else’s work as thy own.

3. Thou shalt not postth a work that art behind a paywall

4. Thou shalt postth a link to where thou gotth the article ye wants to discussth.

4. Thou shalt not quoteth an entire article unless it art absolutely necessary

5. Thou shalt sourceth any article or other work that thou quoteth

6. Thou shalt askth an artist’s permission before usingth thine work in a siggy or avatar

7. Thou shalt understandth that if a work art postedth on a forum or mayeth easily obtainedth from google images, then the owner art probably ok with thine work being postedth elsewhere

8. Thou shalt understandth that thine own works postedth here art put under the same assumption

9. Thou shalt understandth that ideas cannot be copywritedth

10. Thou art responsible for what thou poststh

3.) The Path Commandments

1. Thou shalt chooseth a path once thou finishest thy Initiate Class--thou shalt not openly discussth which thou thinkest thou willth chooseth until that time.

2. Once thou reaches Manshima/Accepted, thou shalt petitionth to join a Discipline or Ajah--thou shalt not openly discussth which thou thinkest thou willth chooseth until that time.

3. Thou shalt thinkth carefully over both of these decisions

4. Should thou decideth that you choseth wrong in either path or Discipline/Ajah, thou mustth contact all superiors involvedth

5. Thou shalt haveth an open mind as thy request art processedth and then grantedth or deniedth

6. Thou shalt next either exploreth thy new home (if thy switchedth paths) or searchth for a new home (if thy switchedth Disciplines/Ajahs)

7. Thou shalt understandth that if thou changedth paths as a full ranking member thou shalt be demotedth to Manshima/Accepted

8. Thou shalt understandth that if thou switchth Disciplines/Ajahs thou hast three months to findth a new home

9. Thou shalt understandth that if thou switchth Disciplines/Ajahs thou must petitionth the new Discipline/Ajah thou wishth to join

10. Thou shalt understandth that if thou switchth Disciplines/Ajahs and thou failth to findth a home

4.) The Bonding Commandments

1. Thou shalt not rp-th an entire bonding ceremony.

2. Thou shalt understandth that a “Bond” art a relationship createdth by channelingth--if no channelingth art involvedth, this art not a Bond*

3. Thou mustth beeth Accepted/Manshima or of higher rank to Bondth

4. Thou shalt only enterth into a Bond with the upmost careth

5. Thou shalt knowth the person very well before thou Bondth them

6. Thou shalt discussth things such as thy Bonded Bondingth others before thou Bondest them

7. Thou might askth the blessing of superiors before Bondingth

8. The Warder Bond art true to the nature of the Warder Bonds in the books--art between an the Aes Sedai and a Warder

9. The Sourvra Bond art BASEDth off of the Aiel “First Sister” Bond. It art between 1) two Aes Sedai 2) an Aes Sedai and a Warder or 3) two Warders Warder Bondedth to the same Aes Sedai

10. Two Warders not Bonded to the same Aes Sedai may not Bondth, but may becometh “Swordsiblings”*

 

*An old thread hath recently resurfacedth that may changeth this soon. For now, however, since Fnorrll art goneth and we art not goingth to doeth anything too extreme without him, goeth by the rules above.

5.) The Ceremony Commandments

1. If thou art in the ceremony--don’t rpth it

2. If thou art performingth a bondingth ceremony, askth thy superiors very clear questions to maketh sure thou knowest what is allowedth and not in a ceremony.

3. Also, in the same circumstances, asketh they superiors if they haveth any pattern for thou to followth

4. Thou shalt knowth that most bondingth ceremonies taketh place in the Hall--if you wishth it to occurth somewhere else simply askth and seeth what thy superiors say

5. Thou may personalizeth the ceremony

6. If thou art readingth a ceremony, do not postth until the ceremony is complete

7. Thou shalt understand that whilst thou hast good intentions, thy neighbor may not liketh the inturruption

8. Thou shalt understand that whilst thou hast good intentions, Mother likest things to beeth tidy

9. Thou shalt understand that *steps in beaming and stands off to the side*th is an interruption

10. Thou shalt celebrateth bondings and raisings

6.) Other Important Commandments

1. Thou shalt respectth the privacy of thy neighbors

2. Thou shalt not bullyth or personally attackth thy neighbors

3. Thou shalt not giveth away thine account information or logth on thy neighbor’s account

4. Thou art responsible for all things postedth on thine account

5. Thou shalt not spamth except in spammingth boards

6. Thou shalt not createth an offsite board simply to avoidth admins

7. Thou shalt not ignoreth the staff

8. Thou shalt informth Mother of any username changes

9. Thou shalt keepth all disputes private and notifyth staff of them

10. Thou shalt rememberth that reasonable people can disagreeth

7.) Thou Shalt Obey the Tower Structure

1. SG Admins overseeth all sgs and shalt be obeyedth by all

2. Mother art the all powerful goddess and queen of this social group (but obeyest the admins)

3. The Sword Captian and Keeper art under Mother but out rankth all others (except admins)

4. The Master of Arms and Mistress of Novices hauntth the dreams of all not yet Aes Sedai or Der’Manshima

5. The Quarter Masters art belowth the Master of Arms and may double as Discipline Heads

6. The Discipline and Ajah Heads art also staff and shalt be respectedth as such

7. Der’Manshima and Aes Sedai art the highest rank thou can achieveth without becomingth staff (though an Aes Sedai mightth be a Sitter in thine Ajah and thus slightly elevatedth)

8. Manshima and Accepted art the next level down. They may Bondth. Accepted need an Aes Sedai’s permission to channelth.

9. Algai and Novices art the next level down. They may not Bondth or even thinkthabout promisingth to Bondth someone. Novices may not channelth

10. Initiates art the lowest level of the WT. They mustth taketh a class before they can chooseth a path and be raisedth

8.) The Commandments for Those That Art Staff

1. Thou shalt respectth the privacy of the Staff Board

2. Thou shalt not criticizeth other staff members

3. Thou shalt reportrh LOA to the admins and thy Staff Board if thou shalt be absentth longer than four days

4. Thou shalt resignth (unless thine circumstances be exceptional) if thou shalt be goneth longer than 30 days

5. Thou shalt understandth that an unannouncedth LOA shalt be treatedth as job abandonmentth and thou shalt be replacedth after 2 weeks

6. Thou shalt not maketh an admin searchth for thee*

7. Thou shalt always actth like a respectful adult on all boards

8. Thou shalt not not throwth a tantrum when things dost not goeth your way

9. Thou shalt doeth all thy duties assigned thee

10. Thou shalt respectth the Staff Structure
