  1. Well, I know this might seem like jumping the gun since my current character is only a Novice, but she'll be looking for a Warder when she reaches the shawl. After her, I have a second Aes Sedai in the works who is going to be a Green and will need a few Warders. I hope that helps...

Definately helps, Thanks! Glad to see more Aes Sedai in the making. Good luck with multiple warders...have you spoken to Rasheta yet? I heard warders can be a handful and potentially lead to a sudden onslaught of insane behavior.

  2. While I do have two potentially in need of Warders I doubt you'd want to be bonded to either of them as they are both Dark Friends lol. And not sure they are in the market yet anyway. Not sure where they are going atm.

Thanks Mat...yeah this one is going to steer clear of DF's though that would be rather interesting to be bonded then one day figure out that your AS is a DF. I do have a DF Tower Guard so hit me up when you decide where your AS are going.

  3. I know one of the Greens is...I should poke her over here. *laughs* I think one of Em's characters is too.

Hiya Sieve I'd take you up on it but Rasheta's already bonded twice and if she adds another there will be hell to pay I think. *ggls*

    Thanks!

Yeah I think you have your hands full with those two. ;)

  4. *Pouncetacklesnuggles Sieve* Of course I don't mind, hon!

I can highly recommend Sieve as a Warder, ladies - he's an excellent writer, and an all round nice guy

*Gets out of the way of the stampede and hollers over heads* Hit me up on PM, Sieve! We've still got an RP going

Thanks, though you are far too kind!

Will do, I couldn't pm for the longest time but I think it is fixed now.

  5. Elgee, I hope you don't mind me dropping by your forums.

I was just curious if there are a lot of Aes Sedai or future Aes Sedai in the market for a Warder. My other Warder characters are tied to Eqwina who unfortunately is on a LoA so I have been contemplating creating a new Warder character but I wanted to know if there was a need first.

I can't speak for others in the WY as I am no longer on Staff but I know the Warder yards have been rather quiet for a while. Devon is trying to revive it so if there is a lot of interest here it might help him to spark things up over there.

    Thanks!

  6. Perivar started to speak then nodded to Kabria with a slight frown on his face prefering to give the matter more thought before he spoke. Perivar might understand battle tactics and swordsmanship but his level of intelligence and wisdom in all other matters did not compare to hers. It was like trying to compare a candle to a raging inferno. Kabria's knowledge on a broad range of topics was unfathomable to Perivar. It was as if she had received a noble's upbringing and he that of a street urchin. Maybe it was the fact that she always seemed to have her nose in a book. Sometimes she had a few opened in front of her reading exerpts from one then moving on to another. Light how did she manage that? Perivar could barely focus his attention on one book. Waves of emotions flowed through the bond as he thought of how wonderful Kabria was. He smiled at her as she turned to look at him, it was his most warm and affectionate smile.

They mounted and got back underway heading towards Lugard. Perivar reluctantly brought his thoughts to the task at hand. He refused to waste time thinking on a plan that included them taking seperate paths. He would not leave her, wouldn't even consider it, but how could they get close to this woman without revealing their true identities. Now that Kabria had begun to take on the ageless look It was harder to mask who and what they were. Perivar remained alert but he was so focused on the puzzle that his brow was furrowed. They needed more information.

At the next village they discovered multiple rumors. Some said the false Aes Sedai was camped about a day from Lugard gathering soldiers and servants. Others said she was already in Lugard entrenched in an estate that she had strong-armed from one of the local nobles. After more questioning the latter seemed to be more likely.

After retiring to their room in one of the two inns in the village he spoke. "We need to get close to her, together" Perivar gave her a look that said to do otherwise was not an option ", but how do we do so without showing your face. It is possible that her followers would not recognize the face of an Aes Sedai but it is safe to assume that this pretender can." Infilitrating would be easy if they could hide what Kabria was. This woman seemed eager to swell her ranks.

"Perhaps a veil? A childhood accident that left you with a bad scar, but what if someone wants to see it or manages to lift the veil? We don't even know if we could procure a veil." Perivar knew it was weak but he was frustrated and could not find a better solution at the moment. Kabria was the thinker, perhaps she had something in mind.

  7. Her sweet words carried over the sounds of their mounts' hooves on the cobblestones and their creaking leather gear as they wove their way through the bustlin city streets. Kabria could feel his pain probably as keenly as he could. It was as if he were trapped under a boulder barely able to breathe with no chance of escaping the immense weight before it squeezed the last breath from him. He would not use the void to stem it, that would be a betrayal in his eyes. A betrayal to his family and a potential hazard for later. These situations had to be dealt with, you could not hide from your problems. A life lesson he had personal experience with.

A tear streaked down his cheek and he fought the urge to wipe it away. When was the last time he had cried? He honestly could not recall. Perhaps the night that Kabria came for him years ago when he thought he had lost her. "Thank you but no, I can't." Why did he feel the urge to cry like a baby? Was it because he knew how much she cared for him beyond a shadow of a doubt? The fact that he knew she would do anything for him and would always be there for him. He turned to face her and gave her a loving smile "We will see this through to the end." After that perhaps there would be time to ride north.

It was time to make their way to Murandy before the situation became worse...

  8. oh, and you should definately take an indepth look at the new website: link

The site itself is still under construction, but the Aiel are finished (contentwise) and you should be able to find everything you need on there :) if you have any comments, additions or questions, don't hesitate to let me know.

I already had a look :-) looks great, lots of good info!

  9. I usually don't visit that side of the forums though I usually read through the book as soon as it is released so there is not much to be spoiled on save for the pre-released stuff. I did read the "7 striped lass" that was released here but by the time the book is released in almost a month i will have forgotten most of it, one of the benefits of having a mind like a sieve ;) Not sure if I am going to purchase the prologue, i usually do but not sure if I am going to do it this time, might just wait.

  10. looks like he hasn't received his starting WS yet and needs to start with his training as well, is that correct?

In that case, I need to create a record thread for him on the Training Grounds too. :)

His progress thread was on the old site. He did his intro thread and received his WS from Ghaul.
