I was thinking Mat goes into the doorway just before or during the Moggy fight.. Which sets up the last scene with Rand leading the Aiel back to Rhuidean to save him bring hung from the tree of life. Moraine freaks out, tries to heal him and gives Rand a letter just as Lanfear appears.. After the commotion Mat picks up Moraines hat which compliments his new spear and medallion combo. End credits scene: Samuel goes to Shayol Ghul.. let the lord of Chaos rule...

That's a cool detail, I've been thinking there's a good chance we'll get the Fin, though probably only one visit. With Mat likely going to Tanchico, he'll need a way to fast travel to the other side of the continent and the Fins would be a great way to tie that together. I also think Moraines hat is telling.. 🤔 I'm thinking we'll be getting a lot of book 3 Mat, he doesn't do much in book 4 and is to soon for book 5 and they need to do something with him like.. Proper healing at the tower and leaving the dagger there for Fain to pick up. Crazy gambling night and introducing his luck and / or "dice". Meeting Thom and promising to deliver the Elaynes letter. Saving an Illuminate like a hero from a gleemans tale. Overhearing an assassination plot against Elayne. Meeting the Queen and Gabril. Heads to Tanchico to save the day, maybe even kills the assassin and / or rescues the girls in some fashion And finish it off with him going through a strange doorway, interacting with strange beings and hung from the tree of life to satisfy his Odin arc.. Maybe..?

Yeah, I quite liked Ishy and Rands interactions. Got a solid gaphaw out of me when he takes off his Balsy face with a "Now we can have a proper conversation". It was a fun callback to the books, though I do kinda miss the comically evil Balsy who thinks calling someone a fool and a worm is the gravest of insults. Fun fact, did you notice whenever a darkfriend meets a Forsaken they fall over themselves to reassure them they are indeed a fool and a worm?

As I said "read", and from my understanding the Adams have an adverse affect for channellers of the opposite gender. E.g. male adam = bad touch for female channelers and vice versa.

Yeah na, IMO this healing miracle error goes to Elayne healing Rands dagger wound, with Nyn right there mind you. On top of Nyn being able to "read" the Adam Ter'angreal, again with Elayne right there. For season 2, this right up there for what most of all vexes me.

In the books Rand saves Mat, who doesn't look like will be there, and here it seems he saves our girl Mo (contrary to the girl power beliefs). Could be some good contrast if.. at the end of the season Moraine saves the world with her famous tackle through a doorway.? I'm guessing that would still be controversial even if it was word for word like the books.. People.. people man.. 😮‍💨

I liked that they gave us the trollock attack, it's going to be a fun contrast with what's coming with Perrin. Really enjoyed Moraine and Lan fighting together and her using multiple weaves was great. The inn throwing part though.. look was visually pleasing and it was cool how what appeared to be earth and fire threads were used to weaken the mortar, and yes quite cinematic and sweet how Lan.. 👀 protected her from a dust cloud but.. It kinda bugged me, I realised my issue here was something similar I had with the books in how the Aes Sedai aren't really inventive or versatile with there weaves, it's mostly the same 7 or so weaves used in the same way.. mostly. Like for this scene, Moraine is no longer sorounded with a couple dozen Trollocks charger her.. let's Evil Dead this with 1 razor sharp whip of air, with a high RPM to turn our enemies into bits and pieces in a very efficient way. Like yeah, not really as showy or dramatic so how about.. She pulls down a half destroyed building on some, creates a bonfire, drops a couple of lightning strikes and finishes the rest off with.. you guessed it, duel wielding razor sharp whips of air! What I'm trying to say is, I'm very disappointed with the lack of representation of razor sharp whips of air in fantasy 😤

Looks like we're starting off with everyone back in Tar Valon, even saw Min all dressed up as her namesake. Mats duel could be good gun though I doubt it'll be as flashy as the blood snow, if I remember right it didn't last long.. I wonder what other book 3 tower plots we'll get for him..? Fever Las Vages and introduction to the dice, Assassination attempt Visiting North Harbour and being denied, poor dude really thought it'd work out too. 2nd from left could also be Lan 🤔 I think you could be right, they look feminine but show Lan isn't as big and has his hair in a ponytail which could easily by put in a bun on top, like the twisted Nyn who appears to have dreadlocks instead of a braid. Also fits with the theme of the scene, our friends being turned into "Forsaken". Good thinking dude 🥲

Edited OP with release date; March 13th Cautiously optimistic and hopeful here, looks like we're getting some book 3 at the tower, mostly book 4 with a dribbling of 5. I looked through the frames and there's some interesting stuff, most seems to be visions by the looks of it. Opening scene of Rhuidian looks amazing. No Mat but Moraine has an interesting hat. Also no Matt as he who comes with the dawn. Not fussed if he doesn't go with them to the waste, other than the Fins he doesn't do much but complain and fraternise with darkfriends Looks like we're all back at the tower, though no Perrin or Mat confirmed. I'd be surprised if Mat isn't there with his book 3 plot, get a proper healing and drop off the dagger (good riddens) for Fain and also.. Galad getting fawned over by novices, shirts off buddy. Not how I pictured him but from the reactions I've read they've nailed it. Has Gawyn been confirmed? Moraine channeling into a crystal orb, Choedan Kal maybe? Mystery blond lady isn't Elaine, the plush background makes me think Tanchico so.. Egeanin, Amerantha ot Black sisters maybe? Though probably someone from the visions. Rands exploding with the power, smashing glass all around him, most likely mirrors though. Bottom rightish looks like a person shaped mirror crawling, gets shattered - bubbles of evil baby! Matt with a wounded neck, doesn't look like rope wounds though, just a couple of cuts and gashes, another bubble of evil? Eggys accepted test! Also Eggy in the waste, dressed like an Aiel maybe. Liandrin and Moggy, I'm guessing when Moggy takes over and humbles the black sisters. From what I've heard from the preview scene that was shown, could be a good way to show why the Forsaken are feared. An axe head getting forged and Perin with a similar axe! Bout time. Rand and Lan training with a sword in the waste, probably in front of Aiel which is hilarious. Moraine getting killed by Lanfear several times, so we're getting some of her visions. Could be a good way to build up their enmity for a big confrontation at the end fo the season. I'm more certain now that it's this season, most likely in Rhuidean. I'm guessing Matt goes through a door in Tanchico, maybe during or just before the Moggy fight, and at the end of the season Rand is leading the Aiel back into Rhuidean and finds a friend hanging from a tree, something Moraine saw which aligns with the books. I'd imagine she'd think she had more time considering Mats on the other side of the continent. And in the end there's nothing left but a hat.. Hmmmmm.. again interesting and hopeful. 3 months guys!
