  1. Spoiler

Have you ever noticed that the only 3 players in the game with a “v” in their name are Clov, VooDoo and Verbal? It’s very alarming to me. A lot of people associate the letter “v” with villagery things like the words ‘villager’ and ‘villagery’ but forget its prominence in the word WOLVES.

I say blame Dice and call it fair

Out of respect for everyone’s time I won’t hammer yet but I plan to soon since DL is tmrw. also Sooh isn’t here to post a flip anyway and that would be kinda awkward

See you when I wake up (PST)

  3. On Clov:

His d1 was clean as you'd expect in either role. The Leelou vote as he left didn't feel weird to me at all, the dice wagon was at the time the only real wagon that had formed to that point and it was mostly just ~active people wagoning an inactive~, so putting some weight to a counter wagon to fetter information is the expected 'Clov' thing. him not being available for the most important part of the day is unfortunate but obviously NAI.

What I hoped to see more of was instances of Clov sticking out his neck for something because he feels its right regardless of how the thread may see it. The only time I felt he really stuck his neck out was his reaction to Sinister's mechanical spec, but I could see that coming from wolf!clov who is annoyed that a newer forum mafia player has derpcleared himself through way off speculation on the # of wolves in the game (amongst other things).

My thing with Chris is I don’t know how to frame his reentry. How far does his line about not caring go?

I think it's all pretty NAI. I imagine he feels like his inability to commit more time to the game is only reason he's being voted out regardless of whether he's town or mafia and that can just make you not care. If he had the time I imagine he'd be in here calling us all chimneysweeps if he's town or calling us all chimneysweeps & also getting us all to unvote him if he were scum

Cory, did you have thoughts about Chris/Hallia pair?

Nothing specific. I feel Hallia is relatively >rand V and I'm not actually sure she would vote Clov there if they were w/w and nobody was pushing her to vote. Halls is pretty reluctant to bus and in context that's a pretty threatening vote with little fanfare. Overall there are not many teams Hallia makes sense on atp for me.

  6. I wouldn't make any anti-reads on Verbal's posting today btw.

If he's a wolf the vig claim is more of a buy time than win the game tactic. Typically when doing something like that you've accepted that your future in the game may be very short and you are already thinking of ways to confuse town when people are looking for spew after your death.

Cory could you one or two line me on your Verb and SD reads?

Verb - The claim is the only relevant thing to his alignment to me, I think we both have thought through the lines for which he would claim that in either alignment. If not for the claim I'd want him to be another wagon today.

SinisterDeath - I didn't put a ton of weight into the mech spec talk that I remember a few people marking as positive. I think there's plenty of worlds where SD is the kind of player who might feel it could be advantageous to (even knowingly wrongly) spec on the game mechanics just as a "playing dumb" tactic. That's definitely a vibe read though. He's a lot chattier this game compared to Fireball, though I'm not sure how I feel about that. The wolf case exists and I've seen similar efforts from newer wolves (being very chatty, almost uncomfortably so, but lots of nearly nonsensical speculation of mechanics and probability in lieu of thinking about the players). I get the impression he's been more straight-forward today but its more an impression than memory which has me wanting to give the slot another day.

same tbh. I don’t think they have responded to me directly since D2 started and they moved off trying to lynch me. Not exactly the sort of play I’d be expecting from an outed Doc!Cory on such a pivotal D2. Maybe he busy

I'm here & reading, just don't have anything I want to say

PS if you think I was trying to lynch you and not just stop the thread from starting with a stagnant Hallia wagon / putting pressure on you, you do not remember what me trying to get someone lynched looks like
