    Welcome to Dragonmount, @bhaktihere! It's always wonderful to meet people who love this series. Not that I'm obsessed or anything be quiet Heavy *eyes* So anyhoooo ... do you have any favourite group or people in the series?

    I absolutely loved reading NS after having read quite a few of the other books (past book 5, at least). It was such fun to see what the younger versions of people we "know" were like, and what they went through!

    I agree, DojoToad. I've started some books where I disliked the characters so much, or actually just couldn't give a flying bat whether they lived or died, that I just stopped reading them. But some of the WoT characters are just annoying enough that I wanted to keep reading to see what happened to them!

    I've found what helped me appreciate both seasons so much more, was watching the reactions of non-readers. I could then approach it more from a "this is an alterate world WoT" than a "omg can these people not get the people and the stories and the magic right???" perspective ... LoL But yeah S2 definitely improves.

    LoL yeah I feel what you're saying. They sure do put us on a roller coaster ride!

    Luckily there are many sides in the WoT, and you go with the one that resonates with you. I've always been on the Aes Sedai side, myself, but that's not to say that I think they're perfect (and I don't think Nynaeve should have been Raised at all :P). In fact, most of them I'd love to line up and smack around a bit ... LoL If you look carefully, you'll realise that not a single person in the WoT is perfect. They're all just human (or wolf, or horse).

    There is something for once a week or such, I think? We used to have it send just 1 email when there was a new post / message, and then it wouldn't send you another until you've looked at it, and then there's another update. That worked nicely.
