  1. So, I read "So You Think You Can Channel" and I see that Illusions were already used. I was wondering if Evanen would fall for it again? Or if Serena might find out about the block from Deanna somehow, and be able to use something like that again.

I'm sure Evanen wouldn't fall for the same thing twice...

  2. I'd love to be a part of this if I could! Umm..."tricks, tricks"...*taps lips in thought* You'll have to give me some time to think on something if you haven't thought of something already.  ;D

Although, the boiling water idea and knife cutting are pretty good. In fact, Serena could always "assist" with an Illusion of sorts, if that was needed

  3. Ooh! Yay! I know that you will have just gotten to Acceptedhood, but there is a lot we could do! We could do any requirements, or have Serena ask her to do something for her and they get talking? We could also do an RP where they talk about her aspirations, and if you really think the Blue is for her, what kind of Causes she might have?

    *giggles and plots*

  4. Serena is me. LOL For the most part, atleast. Yes, a lot of the things that she and I have in common are magnified; however, she is such a part of me it's not even funny. Her sarcasm, her slyness, even her facial expressions come from things that I do or have done. Even the Aes Sedai calm (or what I would imagine it to be), comes from moments where I had to gather myself quickly and Ground and Center. Any characteristics that might be considered negative, I magnify those and implant them in her. Anything that I strive to be or "wish" I could be, I put into her.

I swear one year I'm going to show up as her for D*Con. I'll just have blue eyes instead of green *winks*

  5. Sorry to both of you for not replying sooner. The flu took a toll on  me and while I was in bed, life still happened!  :o  *shrugs* I dunno either, it just happened. :P

Lavinya- I would LOVE that!! I think that we should definately try and do something with the Order..what will happen to it? How can we go on without our fearless leader? ;)

Elliara- I could ALWAYS use a minion...*ahem*..I mean, novice. ;) Are there any requirements you'd like to do? A penance? A prank? *taps lips with index finger..plotting*

Thank you both, and again I'm sorry for my absence.

  7. *claps*

I'm so happy to see people posting to this.  :P

Just because ajah's are allied (I use the term loosely :P)

I do as well, and have for awhile. Especially because Serena had an awesome Mentee that was a Red, and had some really good friends in the Greens around the time she was raised to the Shawl(and her adoration of a certain Green who was raised to the Stole and the head of secret organization...); however, I often play Serena as loathing *most* of the Reds and Greens.

I used to leave the Tower politics to the Head of my Ajah, and now that I am one, I need to pick up where the old one left off. That is not my only reason for posting this, as I said above, I think the split is a good idea; Even if it's just within the White Tower.

Does anyone think those actions and the upcoming bonding of asha'man would affect their ajah's current alliances? Would the bonding perhaps make the blues view the reds with less animosity?

I think Watchers should have had made waves ripple through the White Tower. Not only that Aes Sedai were sent to the Black Tower and bonded by male channelers, but all of the things that occured with it and after it. The Amyrlin that had been raised from the Green disappears. The Amyrlin that is Raised from the Gray mysteriously dies, and now there is a Red Amyrlin in the White Tower where there hasn’t been one in centuries? (Isn’t that right? Centuries?) I am not sure yet as to how closely we were following the books on the past Amyrlins and have found the link that has some of ours and noticed that there weren’t many from the Red, but didn’t know if that was due to the things that occurred with the Red Amyrlins in the books.

All I’m saying is… I don’t think we should let the split disappear, especially since it becomes so apparent in the books. Yes, I know we are our own PSW, but I also believe we are following the books as closely as we can with slight changes.

I would be more than happy to take on this project  and see where it leads

Anyways, what else to people think?

  9. Welcome to the White Tower!

And welcome to the time of some of the BEST RP at our Division… your youthful Novice and Accepted years. During this time you’re going to get a chance not only to learn the arts of Saidar and become a Sister, but you’ll meet other characters like yours… make new friends, better define who your character is as a person, let your hair down and have fun in ways you can’t as a full sister, and of course keep up with those pesky chores and punishments. ICK!

But just how *will* you choose the right Ajah for you?

There are many ways players choose; some base their decision off which Ajah they liked from the books, some pick it because they like the purpose of the Ajah and think it best fits their characters, and while still others pick an Ajah based off of who they think they’ll have the most fun with. All of these are valid and great ways to choose, but here at a PSW (portal stone world - in which not everything is just like the books) its good to have a lot of information on each Ajah so you can make an informed choice and better enjoy the long term play of your character.

That said, let us tell you a bit about the Blue Ajah of Dragonmount.com’s DRPSW (Dragon Reborn Portal Stone World) and to do that… we’re going to have to inform you a little bit about the Setting of the world as well as the current events in the White Tower.

    The Timeline --------------------

Your story is being set in the time of Robert Jordan’s books. In fact, in our world the Dragon has taken the stone of Tear and the events of Dumai's Wells have come and passed. Aes Sedai have been sent to the Black Tower, been Bonded by men that can wield the male half of the True Source, and have only been released a very short time ago. Its about to become a truly cool time to be an Aes Sedai at the White Tower. But don’t worry, because of how our Timeline progresses you’ll have been raised *LONG* before any more major events have occured and so, once you're Aes Sedai, you can begin interacting with them as if you'd been a Sister for many years now.

Because of this “flexible timeline” we can allow many new people to join and simply ignore the main plot (by in large) until they are raised to full Sisters. By the time you’re raised you can jump right in and join us in the world that is set.

Many girls(or men in dresses), in fact, use this flexible timeline to rp themselves as both a young sister (one who travels the world looking for adventure with her warder) and an older sister who is in the Tower during the time of the main plot involving the Dragon Reborn and the politics caused by that event. Speaking of Tower politics... let's talk a bit about what's going on in the 1000 NE Dragon Reborn timeline!

    Recent Tower Politics

    ----------------------------

Unlike in the books there will be no major splitting of the Tower, more like political factions and alliances are being made due to previous and future events. While these won’t effect you greatly as a novice or accepted, they’re good to keep in mind when choosing an Ajah.

Currently the Blues are allied with the Browns and Yellows and have supported such motions in the Hall of the Tower as one of the newest change to Tower Law: Men (unless they claim to be the Dragon) are not immediately gentled upon arriving at the Tower and instead are studied in the hopes of finding a cure to the Madness and the Taint on Saidin.

As you can imagine this change to Tower Law upset the Grays and the Reds who are both now tight allies.

And because of the most recent change to Tower Law (created for the Safety of Traveling Sisters - No Sister may leave the Tower without the Hall‘s permission if she expects danger) the Greens have joined the Red/Gray alliance. And the Blues, who are angry with the Greens for the events surround the raising of the passed Amyrlin Seat & her Keeper, Lanfir Leah & Lyanna, did little to convince the Greens otherwise.

The White remain neutral and throw their lot with whoever they support from moment to moment but more often than not that has been the Brown, Blue, & Yellow alliance... giving them the majority of votes in the Hall of the Tower.

Lanfir Leah and Lyanna (the Amyrlin and Keeper of the Chronicles), die by the hand of Caladesh as he wreaks havoc on the White Tower. Sirayn Simeone is raised to the stole from the Green Ajah.

In Short: at DM the Blues are allied with the Whites, Browns and Yellows. As you can guess this makes for exciting politics and social situations even among the best of friends across the Ajahs!

    Current Tower Politics:

    -----------------------------

    Late 999 NE

Sirayn sends a group of Sisters to the Black Tower in an opperation called The Watchers, and many Sisters of all Ajah's are bonded by Asha'aman.

The Sisters have since been released and have made their way back to the White Tower. During this period of time Sirayn Simeone has gone missing, a new Amyrlin had been raised to the stole and staff from the Gray Ajah, has died, and now there is a new Amyrlin Seat, Shevara Edosian of the Red Ajah. (Imagine the Blue Sisters jumping for joy)

It's an amazing time to become a Sister. There will be RP's to come that involve the Bowl of Winds, and the Cleansing of Saidin, and much more!

What’s the Blue Ajah all about?

    --------------------------------------

As you know from the books, the Blue sisters involve themselves with causes and justice. The Blue Ajah believes that each person has a mind and a voice of their own, and each is deserving of basic human rights; rights that cannot be taken away. But every Blue has a specific cause that is near and dear to her heart above and beyond the general Ajah focus. Some may focus on civil liberties of course, while some may decide they wish to promote higher educational standards among the common folk of the world, and yet others may wish to fight the shadow (and there are LOTS of ways to do that), and still others may wish to work in politics and keep peace among nations as well as any Gray. For each woman the calling is different but all are vital to the world that the character’s live in, if only to one person. And to a Blue, if they can help even one person for the Greater Good, then they’ve done their job.

A Blue can appear to be quite like a Brown when it comes to researching a subject that has to do with a cause of theirs. Usually (but not always) Blues have known exactly what they want to do for their whole lives, at least to some degree. This strength of will which is characteristic of the Blue Ajah Sisters helps the Blue Sisters to easily identify future aspirants of their Ajah and begin working with them early on in their years at the Tower. Blue's are more worldly (street-smart) than nearly any of their other Ajah counterparts because unlike the other Sisters, each Blue has her own agenda that does not necessarily have anything to do with any other Aes Sedai of the Tower. They rarely stay in the White Tower at all in fact, preferring to Travel and keeping in contact with their vast network of eyes and ears and working closely with their chosen cause.

What do other’s think of Blues?

    ---------------------------------------

Other Sisters see the Blue Ajah as so ready to save the world that they lose themselves. As meddlers of the most extreme degree. According to some Greens, in fact, a Blue Ajah Sister only likes men as long as they share her causes and do not get in her way! (See below under traditions for more of a reason why that makes sense!)

    Eyes and Ears?

    ------------------

It has the most extensive network of eyes-and-ears. We take great pride in the idea that we, more than any other Ajah, really have a great opertunity to rp with other divisions as we do a TON of traveling and dealing with world events. If you're looking to adventure, we're the Ajah for you!

    Size?

Currently there are many TPC characters (ie: characters not played by any person as their own character but as a “Temporary Player Character“) but that just means that there is lots of room for your character to come in and help shape the Ajah. It also means that there is a great chance for advancement to Sitter in our Ajah! Current Members Include:

Serena Morrigan (Ajah Head - First Selector)

    Estel Liones (Sitter )

    Sample Blue Causes?

    ------------------------------------------

Can’t think of what you’d be all about as a Blue, here are just a few of some great ideas out there for you to use!

    Justice

    Freedom

Equality (among sexes, people of different countries, races (ogier, aiel, west Landers etc.)

    Peace

The Light (battle the shadow’s big bad minions, dealing with small stuff like weeding out dark friends, and smaller stuff like trying to promote good stuff.)

The Children of the Light (Trying to bridge the gap)

Education (helping make sure everyone has a chance to get one, trying to improve the standards of education in rand land by starting schools and such… could make good rp with the browns!)

Ending Hunger (maybe you’re trying to find new and better ways to farm, or using Saidar to discover new ways to provide food like they did in the Age of Legends)

    Restoring the Age of Legends

Cleansing Saidin (this would include curing madness ideas)

Blue Ajah special stuff that you didn’t know you wanted to know!

    ------------------------------------------------------

    1. The Head of the Blue Ajah, who no one but our Blue Sisters knows the identity of, is called the First Selector.

    2. It is Blue Ajah custom that sisters should not marry so that they can instead focus on their duties and stand as example to the others of the Tower where our priorities should lay first and foremost.

    3. There is long standing animosity with the Red Ajah. (Only two Amyrlin Seats have ever been removed from office, both Red and both replaced with Blues.) Now, make no mistake, the Blues don’t dislike the Reds on sheer principle or even necessarily because they seek to gentle males… however where the problem comes in, is that Reds and Blues agree on the problem but not the solution. Blues for example are particularly passionate about their causes as are the Reds, this combined with the idea that Blues work towards cures to problems while Reds are about prevention makes them a volatile mix. Reds see Blues as meddlers who don’t know when to give up, while Blues view Reds as women stuck in tradition who are afraid to do whatever it takes to solve the problem for all eternity. Reds also see Blues as cold, not caring who or what they hurt in getting the “cure” to whatever problem they’re working on… Blues see Reds as cold because they are so concerned with preventing problems that they are blind that the problems they wish to prevent will always be there if no “cure” is found. So it is often said that two Ajahs who are both so passionate are likely to never see eye to eye. As such no Blue Sister ever wears the color red to demonstrate a unity in their dislike of the Red Ajah and their ways and vice versa.

    4. The Blue Ajah has a secret weave that controls insects & one that induces fear.

    5. Most recently raised Blue gives the shawl to the new Sister. Youngest Blue lays shawl on shoulders of new Sister and welcomes them to the Blue Ajah. Then they are taken back to the Ajah Hallway where all Blues welcome them clad in their own shawls. Every sixth sister who welcomes them they owe a pie to. Once this is done the new Sister is clad only in her shawl and given a tour of the tower and grounds so everyone can welcome her. During the tour the tour guide (an older sister) tells the new sister about customs and traditions of the Ajah.

    6. Every new Sister is given a Staff when she is raised to the Shawl and asked to add something personal to the Staff. When she returns to the Creator (ie: dies) the staff is passed to another Blue. Each Staff given is a legacy of the Ajah and a symbol of Ajah pride as much as the Shawl is… and it's less conspicuous.

The Sisters of the Blue Ajah while small is often seen as the most influential Ajah in the White Tower. Each Sister takes for herself causes which are inspired by her pasts or what she wants for the future. Each plays roles in politics and justice, interacting with other Ajahs, Kings and Commoners alike. To the outsider, it may seem like a Blue Sister is a cold and scheming woman bent on her own ideals, but in truth Blue Sisters are perhaps some of the most passionate women in the White Tower. To be Blue is to dream, to strive and to persevere to victory.

Do you have what it takes to be a Blue… if so… please contact SerenaMorrigan  or reply to this letter!

"We've waited long for you Sister... welcome home!"

"We've waited long for you Sister... welcome home!"

    Head of the Blue Ajah

  11. I have been running through our topics and threads on here and around the site, and I have not been able to find an answer to my question. Since our Tower didn't "split" like in the books, we had made Alliances between certain Ajah's. This was important. Not only was it relevant to have a "split" between the Ajah's for storyline purposes, it was fun to RP our political differences and stand points, or even our prejudices against our opposing Ajah's.

The last I can find is this Alliance:

Blues are allied with the Browns and Yellows

Grays and the Reds who are both now tight allies

The Greens have joined the Red/Gray alliance.

The White remain neutral and throw their lot with whoever they support from moment to moment but more often than not that has been the Brown, Blue, & Yellow alliance...

This was in 999 and I am supposing that some things have changed. The Blue's were also upset with the Greens, because of the whole Lanfir not choosing Nasty incident.

If anyone has any questions, comments or suggestions about Ajah Alliances, please post them here. What Ajah do you think yours is aligned with? I would appreciate any information that you have.

    Thank you!

  12. Biting down on the nail on her thumb, Serena regarded the storm clouds outside of her window. They roiled and curled, and shed tear-like droplets that caressed the pained glass that set in her windows. The rhythmic tapping of the rain would have lulled her into a trance like state, or sleep, if she let it. Removing her thumb from her mouth, she replaced it’s spot with the stem of her pipe and bit down hard on it. Her teeth clacked on the innately carved wood, before she set into drawing smoke from within it.

The Aes Sedai’s emerald eyes studied the busy souls that rushed in the rain across the courtyard a few stories below. One of them would be Thera, no doubt. Light! Her heart jumped into her throat with merely the thought of her once-Gaidar. The woman would be making her way to the quarters of the Blue Ajah, over the blue tiles of the cool corridors, and straight to her rooms. It seemed like Ages had passed since the beautiful, warm, and feisty soul had been so close.

Colour crept its’ way into Serena’s ivory cheeks, and she blushed like a novice having been caught staring too hard at the Trainees in the Yard. Woman! You will be two centuries old in less than two more decades, and you still act a fool when it comes to Thera! You are no child fresh off of apron strings. You are Aes Sedai, fool-woman!

No matter how old she was, being wrapped in the Mistress of Trainees arms earlier that day had been like coming home. The comfort, the warmth, the love, the passion- everything that she had missed in the years that had passed. One day, Thera would be gone, and Serena would be left to live on without the woman; Age, would take all the Warders and Tower Guards one day, and the Aes Sedai would hardly have the sign of age on them.

Shaking her head, Serena could not bare to think of losing Thera completely. Yes, she had thought she had lost her love already, but she knew that the woman lived on. Once death took her…. No, I cannot think of that. Those thoughts were the ones that had been responsible for her to distance herself from her Gaidar years ago. She loved the woman, and she had come to understand that she could not protect a Warder from doing their job, no matter how much she loved them. It was what they did, it was what they lived for. Sometimes, Serena wondered if it was really the Tower Gaurds that Served All, by serving the Aes Sedai and the White Tower.

If an outsider were to look in on her, they would see her and regard her for looking absentminded; however, the diminutive Aes Sedai was aware of her surroundings, and was merely being caught by her thoughts momentarily. It was like being swept into a current of nostalgia. Light, the things that Thera’s embrace had done to her. Feeling the woman pressed up against her…breathing in her scent…

A firm knock lifted Serena out of her thoughts and she got to her feet with confidence. She ran a small ivory hand through her short raven coloured hair and set her jaw. Cool serenity swept across her features, and tilted emerald eyes glinted with mischief momentarily. Rose coloured lips smirked at the spark in her eyes, and she could see pieces of her “old self” again. Nodding, she ran her palm across her jacket and checked the buttons down the chest of her coat.

Smoothly, Serena seemed to glide across the hard wood floor towards the door. She released the Alarm Wards around the threshold, and opened the door. The sight on the other side was breathtaking, and it made a gasp escape between her parted lips. Warm red curls seemed to reflect the golden light that was being given off by the candlelit sconces on either side of her door. The Mistress of Trainees seemed a powerful woman, yet, somehow, still the young Tower Guard that Serena had bonded all those years ago. Yes, age, experience, and childbearing had changed the other woman; but hints of her younger years swept through her features.

“Thera,” the Saldaean Aes Sedai breathed.

Shaking her head in disbelief and to set her thoughts on a more lucid path, the Blue Sister cleared her throat. As she let her eyes glance over Thera again, she noticed the glistening droplets of water on her cloak and quickly spun a weave of Air to remove and dry the other woman. Why hadn’t she thought of that before? Light, she had let the her soak!

Afraid of what might happen if Serena invited Thera into her rooms, she was unsure of the next move to make. Stepping backwards slightly into her quarters, she gestured into the room. “I have not been very hospitable, I apologize, letting you stand out here in the hall…would you like to come in for a moment, or shall we proceed into the City?”

Fool woman!!  She cursed herself. Where was her Aes Sedai calm? Where were her years of training and schooling her features to appear to be the icy and commanding woman she had become? Gone. Thera knew Serena, better than anyone in the White Tower, or without. The Aes Sedai had cast aside her her visage for the Tower Guard once before, and was finding it easier to keep things simple. Serena had to pull pieces of her Aes Sedai mask off. Maybe not all at once, and maybe not all of it, ever; but she had to show her true self, if she wished to be part of Thera's life again.

  13. Hey everyone!

I am slowly recovering from the flu, and I apologize for my absence. The past two weeks have been pretty awful, and I am just now starting to get some of my energy back. I'm sorry if it's caused any delays in RP's or trying  to get hold of me.

    thanks for being patient

  15. Ok, we DO need to salvage this. I'm sorry, I didn't see this sooner. I will be posting more frequently now and I apologize for the delay in this post.

I am extremely excited about getting this going.

Let me go check this out, and I'll respond shortly

  16. Hey everyone!

I'm Serena, and I play Serena Morrigan, Head of the Blue Ajah here on the RP side of DM. The Blue Ajah needs help, and I would love to have any of you RP with me in any way. I have plans for the Ajah, but I cannot pull them off alone. This Ajah is a great one, and it has increasingly become more and more quiet, which is incredibly strange for the activity that has gone on in this Ajah. Many times we are the contravercial Ajah and have gotten ourselves into messes that we can hardly find our way out of. And THAT is good RP!

    Come, play with me  :)

  17. Gasping from shock and surprise of the feel of well-toned arms wrapping her up into a swift embrace, Serena reached out to the One Power to Shield herself from whatever strange attack that had just occurred. Her mind was wrapped up in a mechanical wheel of thoughts of worry, anxiety and “what-if”. The corners of her eyes burned with threatening tears, and as she was swept up by this strange force, the tears fell. A beautiful scent of lavender and rosemary filled her nostrils as gorgeous red hair caressed her face. Soft skin nuzzled up against her neck, and even velvet-like lips grazed her neck.

An ample bosom pressed up against her own, and it seemed to heave deliciously with each breath. Thera! Serena cried out in her mind as she released her touch on the True Source. There was no threat here. Light, she had wanted and willed for this moment to occur, and now…she could do nothing but wrap her arms around the other woman.

Her right hand wrapped behind Thera and up into her hair. She cradled the back of her former Gaidar’s head and gently ran her fingers through hair like spun red-gold.

“Thera…” Her tears streaked down her cheeks.

Pulling away from the other woman, she placed both of her hands on either side of Thera’s face and looked deeply into those warm caramel ones. She had yearned for so long to be wrapped back up in their warmth, to be all that those eyes could see when it came to matters of the heart. Tilted emerald eyes sparkled with love and tears that had not trickled down her face with the others, yet. Aes Sedai should not act like this, not in public, and definitely not mere steps from outside the Tower walls. Serena cast aside all care for trivial things like rules of etiquette. This was the woman she loved, for the sake of the Creator, and all things holy!

Not a care in the world, except for the one she loved. Light, her heart ached.

“I have never…ever…stopped…” Should she tell her she still loved her? How could she not? She didn’t want to frighten the woman off by using such strong words, and after she had turned her back on Thera years ago. Not finishing her sentence, she pulled the woman’s face towards hers and she placed her lips upon Thera's. The same surge of electric passion that had ignited from a mere touch of their hands, seemed to magnify as their supple lips met. To Serena, at least, it was as if the whole world had stopped moving and just the two of them remained.

Pulling away from the kiss was as hard as pulling to magnets apart. Her soul ached for their bodies to be touching, for their lips to meet once more, and to be wrapped in each other’s arms. Small ivory hands remained cradling Thera’s head as Serena pulled away slowly. Her eyes closed and she pressed her forehead against Thera’s.

“Please, let’s meet.” She whispered breathlessly

  18. Flames burned in Serena’s cheeks as she opened her mouth to speak. Her throat made a strained squeaking sound as words refused to form on her lips. Warm eyes stared into hers as she said something was…”perfect”. What was perfect? Had she really been telling Serena that, and not her daughters’ doll? Although her chest was tightening as if her heart were in a vice, Thera’s words, drifting off of her beautiful soft lips had been a comfort to her. Her voice was melodious and caressed the Aes Sedai’s ears, making the hair on the back of her neck stand on end as if she had been electrified.

“How…. Are you…… here? Why….I..mean…you are not..I wish…." Thera had stumbled over her words. This great warrior of a woman was diminished to a stuttering girl, just as Serena had felt. No, she’s done better than I. Words won’t even come out of my blasted mouth! However, it was a comfort, nonetheless.

Wait... What was it that she had ‘wished’? Could it be possible that the woman still felt the same way that she did? Or was she still just so incredibly destroyed over the annulment of their incredible Bond, of duty AND soul, that she was too angry to even speak? The tightness in her chest gripped at her throat, and Serena ached to wrap her arms around Thera. Were those magnificently ardent eyes misting over with tears? Oh, Light!

Aes Sedai were to be like rocks in times of need, strife, and danger; never to give into their emotions or think impulsively, lest it be the demise of a larger cause. Servants of All, in the Old Tongue…yet, they were forced to deny their own needs and emotions in the stead of relieving and assisting those in need, casting aside the human desire for love and the intensity of a relationship with another being. Granted, it was said that the intensity of channeling the One Power should be enough for any woman channeling it, and it was a glorious and addictive substance at that; but never did it embrace you, the way you embraced it. Never, did you feel the heat of its’ skin pressed up against yours. Never, did its’ lips caress yours with  gentle or fervent passion.

Feeling weak and weathered from her struggle to keep her emotions trapped inside a metal box within her soul, Serena could stand it no longer and dropped to her knees like a rock being tossed into a stream. She sunk to the hard wooden floor and let her emotions wash over her like a current. Shaking, her hand reached out to cradle the smooth and warm skin of woman she knew she would always love, whether the feeling was mutual or not. Her fingers trembled as she feared the other woman would refuse her touch and cringe away from her. The exhilarating tingle of the woman’s flesh encouraged her to continue on. A tear streaked down Thera’s cheek and onto Serena’s hand, and glistened on her skin. The Saldaean woman had not ever thought that her former Gaidar could be anymore beautiful, but in this moment…she was bathed in ethereal splendor. Divine Beauty.

“Thera,” She whispered again and tears shimmered in her eyes and spilled down her ivory cheeks. “I am.. so sorry…” She wanted to tell the woman how she thought of her always; how, in the peaceful moments before bed, or in the midst of battle, it was Thera who crept into her mind. She wanted to tell her she loved her, and craved to be held in her arms once more. There was so much she wanted…

“I never stopped…” …loving you, yearning for you.. Her emerald eyes drifted towards the beautiful little toddler, who stared back and forth between the two of them with wide eyes and wonder. Serena smiled at the girl, then winced and let tears stream down her cheeks. The aching in her chest persevered, threatening to crush her through her sternum. The small woman pushed up onto her feet, and as she rose she leaned forward, gently held Thera’s head in her hands, and kissed her beloved on the forehead. The same surging spark from their touch earlier tingled on her lips, and she craved more.

With all the force in the world, she stood, and turned away from the one she knew she was tied eternally to. Her heart cracked and shattered and she thought her knees might give way once more, but she willed her legs to hold her. I cannot put that child through any pain. It is not just Thera anymore, and she is bloody married and with a child! Damn you, woman! She cursed herself.

The only way she did not look back, was by picturing the child’s face. Serena could not bare to hurt anyone she loved anymore, especially to marr the innocence of a child for her own selfish needs. It was more than a need, though…it was a yearning. An aching, painful yearning for her love.
