Omg, finally, all caught up, and can fully focus on the game (albeit on my phone). Scum Reads - Dice, DPR, Ed TL;DRs: Dice - Stretch in reasoning to call me scum after Id placed him in a sus group of 3, which isn't even that big of an accusation DPR - Bad reasoning takes imo in the past ~24 hours and discussions with Verbal, iirc had to do with some activity-based logic, though this is a good sign I should take notes during my re-read Ed - Largest comment to actually useful investigation ratio (meaning not many useful tidbits). Seems like he's enjoying the show and waiting for some inno to get lynched. If this read is true, less likely that Dice is scum ig. Heavy, Tigraine Heavy - Super hard to place, and I was originally more on him being town (and I think the whole tonal switch thing is bs, why would he be putting that much work into speaking differently?? Seems like an easy way to shoot yourself in the foot, which is what happened). However, I do agree that you can't ignore the defensiveness and large reactions the more I read. Would put him neutral if I left that option for myself, but more out of confusion. Also there are enough town vibes to me now that someone who's not giving them is automatically in the potential scum side Tigraine - Do not think the activity thing is a big deal, it was a special weekend (also did anyone here 4/20 it up haha, I thought thatd be another reason people were gone, but idk how many ppl here partake). Anyways, I didn't get anything of substance from her analysis, so she's also in the not giving town vibes, hence on the scum suspect side ------- Ithi, Key, Marsh Ithi & Key - Giving good searching for clues vibes, as well as the "clueless" energy that you get if you aren't mafia Marsh - Mainly coded in the Marsh and Key back and forth feeling like town on town conflict, and agreeing with his reasoning re: Heavy and giving him some grace as a new guy on DM and not understanding playstyles? Was surprised it wasn't done more Turin, Verbal Turin & Verbal - Logical thinking that aligns with my own consistently Nynaeve - Honestly scared that she gives me the most town cuz she hasn't done anything so big that's a "clearing" type action, and while I agree with her reasoning overall, I don't think its anything special. All that being said, gut feel on how she reacts, analyses, etc is pure town and it seems a lot of others agree. But she could also just be flexing her acting chops. Still, my strongest town read.

Also in terms of voting implications between the multi-vote trains right now, my order is definitely Dice, then Heavy, then Marsh right now. I can explain more of my reasoning in detail, but for both my town and scum reads, I feel like there are a lot of illogical cases accusing people of being scum (Heavy talking style, people inactivity, joke votes, etc.) and while some of these people could be town, and I just disagree with their reasoning, some are probably scum

I think key was saying that I'm sussing Dice as a way to throw shade at another "teammate" and thinks that we're both scum. I'm saying that it's not reasoning that can be used to determine my alignment, since that logic only works if I'm already scum, and if I'm town then it's a normal read (that she agrees with).

You're right, but I misspoke by saying null. I was trying to say that Ithi was saying things that seemed to have some intentionality behind it (AI I guess?), but I couldn't determine the root of that intentionality. And that early in the game, I don't think that's worthless either? If I continued fence sitting for a long time saying those types of things, sure, but not all indecision is bad/should be avoided. Less chance meaning that right now there's a 3/13 (23% chance) that probabalistically some rando is mafia. Based on my read of the dynamics between Dice, Ironeyes, and Heavy, I think there is mafia influencing the conversation, and if that's true, it would mean that one of them has at least a 33% chance of being mafia picked at random. Thus it would make more sense to vote out of that pool I'm super confused on why you think my removal of my joke vote on Nyn is even worthy of mentioning. Can you explain what you think a normal town would do with a joke vote once the game started getting serious? Idk what to say about Dice haha, that's my honest read. Sure if you think I'm mafia, then you'd see it as an out, but obv that in of itself isn't relevant to whether I'm mafia or not.

It feels more accurate than trying to take a strong stance on limited information. Since now basically back to back people have called it out. Nyn was in no danger from your vote? This looks nervous again. I knew I was going to be AFK for a day or so, and I unvoted so if anything gained steam on her, I wouldn't unwittingly be a part of that count. Is that not normal? If anything, I feel like leaving a joke vote and being AFK after is scummy since you may unintentionally lead people into thinking that others also think that person is scummy. This is the logic I disagree with the most from what you've said above. Overall read - Trying to not be biased by other read lists I've read that have Key as the most town, but don't love all the logic here? However, she was also doing a dive through everyone, and was less reactive based on the above analysis, so I don't feel this is as much of a scummy vibe as Dice's. At the same time, maybe I should think more about my Dice read since unless he and Key are both mafia, at least one town has had a negative reaction to the way I posted my thoughts, and maybe it's more valid than I believe.

Very fair points, and thanks for the added context since I haven't caught up yet. Also got to start using tagging, the notifications when you're talking about someone are key. My deskmate is not in office today! Still have to be productive rip, but I think I should be able to catch up faster than I originally thought

+1 - slight town read from this and other reasoning comments on actions in this game so far Nyn did so above in a roundabout way (which I agree with), I think you also defend other people as part of the process of investigation, if you think they're getting a train built on them for the wrong reasons. - slight scum read from what seems like a fabricated push More or less trying to get my bearings and dust off my inexperience. Caught up! Have given some tells that I need to figure out: Nyn, Ithi, Turin, Ironeyes, Dice, Heavy The rest including me a lil more quiet and vibing. Could obviously be due to IRL reasons like myself, but Id wager scum are split between the two groups. Heavy read initially to me as discombobulated town... but maybe Im too trusting Ithi's reasoning post felt like it had some gems in it, one way or the other. There is, I feel as much as possible from current info, less chance that all of Dice, Ironeyes, and Heavy are all town. Will ruminate more, and get back to the wedding Im supposed to be at in the mean time 😂
