But right now, I'm not sure of ANYONE!

So if I target mafia, they can lie through their teeth and make up names and use names of all town players, which will assure a lynch of a town player. So it can be a Trojan horse . . . 

It's not one I'd ever heard of before, Turin.  Caroler. I just reread the description and the scum will be one of 4 names of active players provided to the target. I'm taking a risk, I think, sharing this, but it's one I'm going to have to take for now.

I don't die for sure if I target mafia unless they decide to NK me.

I may have flashes of brilliance but they are few and far between.

Now . . . do I tell before deadline who I'm targeting in case I die during the night or do I not and hope for the best . . .? Of course, I have to decide first and I'm REALLY torn!

I just have to figure out who to target and get my action in before scum does . . .

Actually, ed has 4 votes, I have 3.  I'll hang out till closer to deadline and will look at voting then if I'm in danger of a lynch or falling to a random lynch.  BTW, anyone who votes for me between now and deadline is almost assuredly scum.

If I target town, we can find out a scum. If I target scum, we don't because they'll lie or withhold the information.

Not all targeting is bad. In this case, if I target town, it helps town. But it can only be used tonight.

Mods, what happens if there's a tie for a lynch?

I don't want to vote ed but if it's between him and me, I will have to so I can use my prize.

Okay, if I get lynched, town loses my prize which could identify at least one scum. If I get lynched, that chance dies with me. If I don't get lynched, I'll use the prize tonight and probably get night killed. If I target the right person, we can find out at least one scum. If I target the wrong person, I get night killed (probably) and my prize is wasted.

Is deadline still at Cloudflare . . . I mean 10 p.m. Eastern time?  I'm getting ready to go to a memorial service for an old friend but expect to be back before then.

LZM, you're wrong about Daruya. I don't know about Turin.

My perk has the potential to really help town but it's also tricky. I have to know for sure at least one town (aside from myself) for it be be beneficial and it has to be used tonight.

Quick question, LedZepMan, do you prefer LZM or Led or Zep or the full LedZepMan?

I keep typing Zipp and having to change it to Zepp . . . I'm used to typing Zipp because for 15 years I had a horse named Zipp and my fingers type that name almost without thinking. 

Okay, I am back. And tired. 4 hours in a car plus 1.5 hours waiting in the dealership. 

Since I just got home, I have have only skimmed the last couple pages but during my drive today, I did a bit of thinking and I can't figure out if Turin is town and truly believes I'm town or is scum and is hoping that by defending me he'll get a free lynch. If he's lynched and flips scum, I'll be a target for a lynch for sure.  If I'm lynched that makes him look town and he gets another night to take out another town player.

Another possibility: the scum are appearing antagonistic against each other trying to throw the rest of us off. Which would make me suspect Zepp and Turin are a team.  

Devil's Advocate, based on your reasoning, if I am lynched, who will be your main suspect for scum? Because I will be revealed as town, I can assure you of that.  Forget my early play and getting into the flavor of the game, I'm curious who you'll target after you make me the sacrificial lamb. 

Turin, I didn't catch that about Ben till I read your roster post just now. Do you think it was connected with Harry or something in one of the chests?

I'll be out of pocket till probably late afternoon. Getting ready to go with my youngest to get his car re-keyed at the dealership where we bought his car. 2 hours to drive over, 1 hour there, 2 hours to drive home.

By the way, I have a spell and can help once I get back from Pensacola, unless you can explain in the next half hour what you have in mind. I'll try to check back before I leave at 0730 (30 minutes from now).

I'll also take my tablet to try to keep up but for some reason I can't post from it. Every time I try to "type" something on my tablet, whether on Facebook or e-mail (and I'm going to assume it will be the same at DM), whenever I type something, it deletes each word as soon as I put a space to start the next word. Talk about frustrating . . .
