Well, my schedule this week is still pretty full. Got back from Pennsylvania Friday, was busy over the weekend with a houseful of teenage boys, ended up babysitting a 3yo girl on Saturday, and then we had another young man (11yo, I think) stay with us Saturday afternoon and night.  Meetings on Monday and today, then headed to Boston tomorrow until Friday.

Maybe I should take my chances that Cross won't mess my stuff up TOO badly! LOL!

What a week!  Travel Tuesday, meetings all day Wednesday and Thursday with no access to phone/internet, connectivity issues in the evenings so not really able to check into DM, and travel again today. I've been up since 2:45 a.m. to be at the airport early enough to catch a red-eye. I'm exhausted!

Cross, are your spidey-senses tingling?

Mills, you only have to worry about the chickens at the moment. All of my chainsaws mysteriously disappeared from the garden shed months ago and all the Tar Valon shopkeepers keep telling me "they're on back order" when I ask about new ones. Although they do keep looking back at their storerooms when they say that . . . hmmmm . . . perhaps I should investigate this phenomenon.

I shall be a benevolent tyrant. Maybe. 

Yikes! As much of a HP nerd I am, even I can't remember what is strange about his pocket watch . . .

I'm a member of the White Tower (where Elgee is the Amyrlin and I am the Keeper of the Chronicles) and I'm also a member of the Band, where I'm a Knight in the Cavalry.  

You'll do fine at either group as long as you ply Elgee with kaf and Dicicle with brew . . .

Climate change exists and has for millennia.   It's not man-made. Man didn't usher out the ice age, after all. 

Granted, we need to do what we can to not make things worse via pollution but I don't buy into all the hype by climate scientists who get research dollars to say it's ALL man-made.

We must be responsible stewards but let's not fall into the Chicken Little trap, either.

I haven't been able to follow the news much lately. How many fires are still burning?
